The most welcoming, warm, and inclusive BJJ gym I have ever trained at. The instruction is top-notch. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and the workout is exhausting. I'm so happy to train here, and I feel like I found the best BJJ gym in the city.

Nu Wave Jiu Jitsu Academy
If you are looking to learn a new skill with a group of people that are engaging, encouraging and supportive, I can’t think of a better place. I joined about a month ago as a 44-yr old with zero prior experience in martial arts and in that short period of time, not only have I learned some solid, basic Jiu Jitsu skills, I’ve learned some very good life skills and met some great people. Come give it a try and see for yourself!

As a newcomer to the sport, I feel very lucky to have been recommended Nu Wave Jiu Jitsu. The instructors Chris and Zoran are extremely welcoming along with the other higher level belts. They truly just care about teaching the sport and seeing their members progress.

Nu Wave Jiu Jitsu Academy is a fantastic Brazilian jiu jitsu school. Instructors, Zoran and Chris, are welcoming, detail oriented and will help you get in shape and most importantly, have fun. Training partners are friendly, with new members joining every week. Highly recommended Brazilian jiu jitsu school!
