I have been there many times I have stayed in the cottages and the light house with my grandparents (Doris and Gerald Stewart). They used to book the light house for many years in July/Aug. and we have used the hall for many family events . They have since passed away but lots of great memories

Clean quiet cottages right on the shores of Bruce Bay. Across the bay from the cottages is the small town of Bruce Mines. If you like the quiet of lapping water and chirping birds this place will feel like paradise. With minimal but availablewifi you can experience nature within walking distance to a couple of restaurants, a coffee shop as well as lcbo and grocery store. There are canoes and kayaks for use and a friendly hostess to answer questions.

Update: looking forward to coming back this fall for the first time in a couple of years. Pat and Larry are great hosts and always show us a good time. See you in September!Great out of the way place to go for a quiet, beautiful break. Good for fishing, boating or just hanging out with family.

Pat is a wonderful host, such a treasured location… North Hurons best kept secret!Watching momma duck with her chicks out front of our cottage was such a treat. The nature walks all through the two islands were very scenic.Loved our experience at the Bruce bay cottages.

This place is run like a top. The woman in charge is sweet as pie and as helpful as they come. The cabins are wood heated, but we got to test our fire making skills for the first time in a while and honestly it fits the setting. The views are immaculate, the trails and the surrounding town are great, and you'll fall in love with the cabin itself. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

We love it here. The Island Keepers are amazing! The nature is beautiful. The sleep is the best! We have been going for 17 years! Home away from Home!

I really cannot say enough good things about this beautiful location, and lovely people. It's been 5 years since we started coming to Bruce Bay Cottages and although the cottages are absolutely lovely, the lighthouse will always have our hearts. You will never regret any time spent on these magical islands. Thank you Pat and Larry for another lovely stay. See you next year!

Bruce Bay Cottages & Lighthouse
We stayed in the grey cabin and really enjoyed the sunsets. The camp fires and we were able to bring our dogs with us. The island is a beautiful scenery private paradise!! Plus you can hike the whole island. We were able to book the cabin twice that summer. Our only complaint was the bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

We stayed in cottage #2 while visiting our son in September. Loved it! The owners are delightful and so helpful. Our little cottage was the kind I remembered as a kid. It provided everything we could ever need. It was clean and so comfortable. The wood stove made everything warm and cozy. We have booked a week in the summer, I think that says it all. I can't wait! Thank you for a great experience.
