Dianna is an incredible wedding planner and hiring her was the best decision we made! The amount of detail that goes into a wedding is insane - we absolutely would not have been able to do it without her (or we definitely wouldn't have made it to the alter!). Dianna's hyper-organization, attention to detail, knowledge/experience, connections, and preparedness made her not just a planner, but an integral part of the experience. The trust we were able to place in Dianna, knowing that she had everything covered, made for such a stress-free journey for us! She truly became our friend and partner.Without any hesitation I would recommend her, and happily use her services again. Though we're hoping the marriage lasts, so hopefully Dianna is open to vow renewals. :)Seriously, can't recommend her enough. Our wedding was beyond perfection! Our only complaint is that it is over.

There are so many great things to say about Dianna, I have no idea where to begin! Planning a wedding can be so overwhelming but with Dianna’s help we were able to enjoy every minute of it. She saw my glamorous, sparkly, vision and made it come to life. She has a profound eye for detail and is an expert at keeping things organized. From florals, to decor, to the day of schedule she made everything about our day so special. We were able to take in every minute of it knowing that Dianna was there to make the show run smoothly. If I were to do it all over again, Dianna would be my first call!

When we decided that we wanted to hire a wedding planner, we had no idea how lucky we would get. We hired Dianna for the full planning service including day of coordination and it was the best decision we could have made!! She was so dedicated, professional and hard working. She absolutely loves what she does and it shows. She really cared about us and went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we hoped for - and wow was it EVER! As the bride I had a vision, and Dianna made it come to life. Based on what you are looking for and your budget she brings you the options, you make a decision, and then she'll do ALL of the leg work: A-Z. Communication with vendors, setting up meetings, arranging visits, ordering items - EVERYTHING!! She really is FULL service, and it was fabulous. Using her network of vendors and other planners she also was able to get us great deals and contracts that we otherwise would never have been able to negotiate. She must've saved us thousands. She's also great on her toes and resolves issues without panic - she ALWAYS made me feel like there was a way that would work. We navigated the ever-changing covid rules in Ontario which was not an easy feat. The day of I didn't worry about a single thing - she took care of it all, made sure we were comfortable and happy, and kept the day on track. I was able to totally enjoy our wedding day without a hiccup or a worry of any kind. She's also so great with the families to make sure they are excited and worry-free. Honestly, I can't say enough great things about Dianna - hire her. If you're looking for a planner, don't hesitate. I don't leave reviews like this often - she's got to be one of the best!!!

Where do I begin! Dianna from Amavi events is one of the most organized, detail oriented, sweetest and authentic person I know! From the start of planning our wedding, to our wedding day, she was amazing. Her way of making sure everything will be absolutely perfect so you can enjoy your wedding day is outstanding. I will be recommending her to all my friends and family looking for a wedding planner, because I know they’ll be in the best hands. When it came to selecting vendors, reviewing contracts, looking after our budget, creating our day of schedule, etc., she was on it! I had numerous people tell me how fantastic of a job she did executing and coordinating our wedding day, and was there to help at any moment. Our wedding day was the literally the best day of our lives and Dianna played a MAJOR part in that. Trust me, if you are considering to hire a wedding planner, you must go with Dianna! There is so much to be said about the vision of your wedding day. The joining of two families in one special place to celebrate and share the love to two special people coming together as a married couple, the immense anticipation of all the memories that bring laughs and happy tears down your cheek. The dancing, the food, the cake, the pictures, flowers, seating charts, I could go on...It's no easy task to plan a wedding.Now let's throw in half a wedding party that resides in another country.Game? GAME!Dianna and her team made the ideas of our wedding come to life. We could not have asked for a better person to plan our special day. She was there every step of the way ensuring we had no worries and making sure we were happy with the final result. Her methodical approach to planning is so organized and done with so much care and grace. Our wedding truly became a day beyond our dreams of what it would become.I'm remembering a specific moment of our wedding day, we had arrived early prior to Dianna's arrival, but when she did, I caught a moment of her walking the stairs and halls leading up to the wedding quarters at The Scottish Rite Club of Hamilton. She was admiring all the little details of the stained glass and woodwork, it truly showed a glimpse of much passion she had and has for event planning.I would highly recommend AMAVI Event Planning + Design. Dianna is an outstanding wedding planner and an all-around wonderful person. Hiring her was truly the best money that my husband and I spent toward our wedding day! We worked with Dianna over a period of eight months and right from the start my husband and I felt so well cared for – we knew we had found a real gem in the wedding industry. We had been feeling the stress of wedding planning before Dianna came into our lives; however, once we had her on board, everything just started to feel exciting and easy. My husband and I could really enjoy our engagement period because we knew we had Dianna in our corner, working day (and late nights!) to help us plan the winter wedding of our dreams. Dianna honestly brought all of our wedding wishes and dreams to reality – she bent over backwards to get us the venue we wanted (The Scottish Rite Club of Hamilton, which looks like a Gothic castle) and we were able to get the day we wanted too (December 23rd). Through her connections and research, we were also able to find the perfect caterer, officiant, DJ, florist, and stationary artist – all at a special discount because we were one of her couples.Dianna is kind, wise, creative, resourceful, and she has tons and tons of energy – she even stayed with us until 11pm on the day before our wedding to make sure everything was perfect. And on the day of our wedding, she left us in awe. Everything ran more smoothly and perfectly than we could have ever imagined – which is really saying something, as there was a blizzard on our wedding day! My husband and I have now been married for one month and Dianna has become a friend to us, who we hope to stay in touch with for many years to come.Thank you so very much for everything, Dianna! Dianna worked closely with us to plan our wedding last June, and we can't imagine working with anyone else. Her attention to detail and genuine care for her clients is absolutely next level. The whole experience, from planning, to walkthroughs, to the big day, was completely seamless, and she went completely above and beyond to make the day perfect for us and our families. We knew that we wanted to get married in a tent on a family property, and we also knew there would be logistics involved with making that go off without a hitch. However, we could never have anticipated the amount of care, work, and detail that went into every aspect of the day. Her way of organizing all major dates, documents, and ideas on her personalized wedding portal, tailored to our specific wedding, was incredible; it helped to keep us at ease through the whole process. The vendors she recommended to us were nothing short of incredible, and the way she brought the vision to life was honestly beyond either of our dreams. It was a completely perfect experience, and an absolutely perfect day.Looking back, there is absolutely nothing we would have changed. All of that comes from the way Dianna helped to make sense out of the vision we had, based on the people we are. I cannot emphasize enough how GRATEFUL we are that we connected with Dianna to plan our wedding!!! From the very beginning she took the time to get to know us as people and what our vision was for our day - the result was a truly incredible day that all our guests said was beautiful, fun, and very reflective of us!
