Really good service here. People are helpful. I took online appointment and went here on time and I got my service on the exact time. I got my first time OHIP as a work permit holder within just 10 minutes. Even they will provide the health insurance form if you need. I faced no trouble no line up there. Smooth and fast service. I would recommend to take online appointment before going for the service.

YOU WILL NOT BE SERVED IF YOU COME AT 4 PM EVEN IF YOU SHOULD BE UNTIL 5 PM. I was there at 4:00 pm. The office should be open until 5pm. I waited in a long line to the first counter to get a ticker. Just as I was about to get a ticket, an officer came out and told all the people in line that we probably wouldn't be served today even if it was only 4:15pm and we have to wait until all people in waiting room will be served first to see if he can give as a ticket. What is going on in this country???? Canada used to have excellent custumers service, now it's terrible. There are fewer and fewer SO offices. It takes hours to get to them. Even if you get there 1 hour before closing you won't be served. You have to take 1 day off to go to Service Ontario. Who will pay for this 1 day off ??? If the store closes at 5 p.m., all customers who enter it until 5 p.m. are served. If at 4 pm there are 20 people waiting for a ticket to be served in the Service Ontario, then the office should be open longer, not kicking our customers at 4:00pm. What's going on in Canada? Where does the 30% of taxes of hard working people go to????

Ridiculous service: Firstly, the person on the front desk will let you in by checking your documents and will give you the ticket number. After waiting for more than 1 hour when you get to see the agent, they will tell you that you are missing this word from your document, just to satisfy there own ego they will tell you they need this in particular even though sentence written in document clearly meant what she asked, even she mentioned that I can get the new letter via email also that would be fine by her, contrary to the instructions written on the form which says documents on email is not accepted. Finally, in the end, I got frustrated and decided to go to other Service Ontario, and that was not it yet as I had to pay $18 for parking, seriously? I just parked there for an hour and a half.Waste of time, money, and mental peaceThey are just doing business, which one can clearly see from the reviews they got.Might be the lady was just doing her job. Nevertheless, they should check documents properly at the front desk and then give you a ticket to wait. Moreover charges for parking should be in two options, for example per hour or whole day like it is in rest places in Canada.UPDATEWent there again with corrected job letter, had real smooth experience this time.Choose Green P parking in front of the palace which costs $3 per hourMake sure to have job letter as per the guildlines

Most terrible experience in my life!If you are not able to talk in the front desk lady’s language. She will disrespect you and misinform you!!Yesterday, when I entered the office front desk lady didn’t let me get a ticket and started talking in another language. When I said I don’t understand her she asked why I came for. Then she asked for a document that I didn’t have with me. I came back within 40mins with the document she asked for. The moment I entered the office, she shouted at me and asked me to wait outside!!! I was confused and I asked her why she is behaving like this. She said they are not able to serve me anymore! It was 4.20 and a few people were inside. I attached a picture of inside, when didn’t let me inside. While I was there she was informing other customers that they are fully booked for 2 weeks and directing people to other Service Ontario offices; however, on the west end this is the only Service Ontario that can extend health cards for certain people, and they don’t need the document she asked me for!!! I came to know this today after spending one hour commuting to go to another office and waiting in line for 2 hours!!!All in all, if you decided to go there except to be disrespected and misinformed!!

I walked in here 8:30 am on a monday morning. 15 people in the line which is not too bad. 1 receptionist and 5 tellers. By 10 am they didn’t serve a total of 15 people. Slow, entitled, tellers check their phone between each person they help. They type with one hand using 2 fingers. I have genuinely never met a group of people who worked so slowly and to think these are government employees! Do not visit this spot. Waste of your time.

Very unfriendly and impolite staff. Don’t respect you at all. They do not know how to reply without being rude. Especially the woman, who’s usually at counter 6 is extremely rude n disrespectful. Never been to any service Ontario this bad.

Amazing staff. All the employees are so helpful and they always have smile on their fave while serving you. I went there for my OHIP & was in and out within 15 mins of my appointment. Be mindful to carry correct documents with you or else you have to wait really long to get the appointment again.

Insane waiting time. I had an appointment at 12:30 and waited for 3 hours until my number was called. People kept jumping the queue at the reception to “ask a quick question”. The staff were nice but they were understaffed. At one point only one counter was open and a new number hasn’t been called for 30 min. I suggest getting the 8:30am appointment. Last time I finished the whole process in under 30 min.

Bad service, the staff is highly inefficient with their time and I was waiting here for 3 hours to have my health card renewed. There are 6 service desks but only 2 operating at any given time. Rest of the staff was busy walking around, going breakfast shopping to nearby Sobeys or chatting with their fellow colleagues. All tax payer money being wasted at its best

Had an appointment and things worked with clock work precision. You may need to check at the counter to be taken out of turn for the token, if you have an appointment. Post this you automatically get a priority call. Signficant waiting if you land up without one.
