Josie delivers the type of work you would expect in LA and New York. I have long coarse dark hair and she gave me exactly what I wanted ;a beautiful natural looking balayage with a well blended layered haircut that flowed perfectly . I also booked her for my wedding and her updos and curls are just stunning and my hair (and bridal party) lasted the entire evening. If your looking for a go to hair stylist that is educated, experienced and licensed Josie is a pro! Her passion for her work shows in her results. Josie scheduled a last-minute appointment for me when I was visiting Toronto for a conference. She then went above and beyond when I got stuck in traffic for longer than expected, delaying her next appointment by an hour so that she could finish my highlights (babylights) and cut when I arrived shockingly late -- an unnecessary but so, so generous gesture of kindness. If you are looking for colour, her highlighting technique is among the very best (go for babylights if you're in the GTA!) and both cut and colour look amazing after a few washes. I only wish I lived closer, but I will definitely be back: I already know that I will be scheduling another appointment on my next trip to Toronto!

I have been a client and now friend of Josie for well over ten years. I have long, thick, coarse curly hair. I have NEVER left her chair disappointed! She is talented, takes her time with her clients and is one of the most caring people I know. I have two small children so my time is precious. I commute almost an hour one way every 3 months to see Josie for highlights, colour, a fresh cut and blowout. I would follow her anywhere. She is truly the best hair stylist. Many of my friends and family members now solely go to Josie. Ive had some horrible mishaps with new hairstylist and its been a struggle finding someone I can trust. I have thick , dark long hair. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair but Josie. She listens and recommends what is best for your hair. I had a full bayalage done and cut , and its blended perfectly and a beautiful tone of beige blonde. I couldn’t be happier. She is well trained and extremely professional. I would recommend her 1000%.! Her prices are very reasonable and she doesnt take 4-5 hrs . She is simply amazing and a great personality too!
