Mistakenly thought that being in the John Lewis Store this would be a secure place to have my cross and chain repaired. After 7 weeks of being passed from person to person, I received a claim form for compensation. The parent company, Timpsons, do not admit that they have lost the Jewellery, they say they are continuing to search for it. How can one be adequately compensated for the loss of a highly sentimental gift from a now deceased parent? They really ought to take far greater care of other people's property. I advise anyone considering using this service to look elsewhere.

Had a battery changed in my Rotary watch and decided to have it cleaned too. The staff were all lovely, I was served by the manager, Charlie. He was polite, friendly, and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The best service yesterday from Jeanette and Maya. So helpful and friendly, after initially thinking they wouldn’t be able to fix a sentimental bracelet due to the make and how small it was, both lovely ladies worked hard with eagle eyes, refused to give up and managed to fix the bracelet for me there and then! Another sentimental piece sent away to be fixed and can’t thank you enough for the time you took with me yesterday, my mum will be so happy to get these pieces back! x

John Lewis liverpool has a concession of In-Time watch & jewellery repairs. Walking past, realised I needed my bracelet fixing & Janette behind the counter was very helpful. She repaired my bracelet there & then. Fantastic! Thank you Janette.
