The Cove Room
I have always had the perch dinner and love it. Decided to try pickerel this time. Still good but not at the perch level.Always go for the dinner. Stick to fish and avoid steak. Celery bread is outstanding and try every salad. Not sure why they put whole green onions on the pickle plate. Who eats that?

We were here on Good Friday, along with 1/2 of Southern Ontario, but we were seated quickly, served our cocktails quickly, and our delicious perch all in good time. Coming from a lakeside town to another lakeside town, there is something really special about the perch served at Erie Beach Hotel. Really small filets with a unique but really subtle spice, just fantastic. Covid has noticed changed this place a bit, like it has at so many other places. We are never disappointed, they must pay their staff really well.

Wow! A co-worker took me here and it’s divine! Perch was lightly battered and paired with mango salsa in two tacos. I chose mash over the fries - odd combination but mash was delicious even without the extra butter. Ordered a side of the celery bread that was light and fluffy. All atop a beautiful rooftop patio. Would recommend!

We just had a wonderful meal at the Cove Room as a reuntied family. We'd all been there over the past 70 years, but not for the last 20. We loved everything!!! The food was delicious. The salads & bread brought pack so many memories. The staff was wonderful & our family was extremely happy with our reunion dinner.Some things should stay the same because they are as wonderful now as they were years ago.Thank you!

Excellent service! Great food! I like that it wasn't the traditional boring green salad but a coleslaw, ambrosia, cucumber and mixed bean salads. We shared them amongst each other. Perch was very good, and French fries were good. Very nice restaurant--a stand out in a below average beach town.

Great family dinner. They set us up in a private room we were a party of 10 adults two children. We decided to do our Christmas dinner at a restaurant this year and we're very glad we did thank you very much Cove you did a fantastic job! I'm not sure of our waitresses name but she did a fantastic job super friendly very attentive and we were very happy to have her wait on our table thanks again!!

Unfortunately this restaurant is very mediocre and extremely expensive. I had the Peach Beach and it was $10 for mostly ice. We all got the perch and it was very disappointing, it was extremely bland and barely battered and there wasn’t much sauce given. It is not really traditional fried fish and chips. There is barely any batter and you even have to pay extra for a side like the fries… the only thing worth going back for is the celery bread, it was absolutely amazing, but even that was an extra $2 for each piece haha. Overall, a bill of $80 for 2 ppl who didn’t even get an appetizer is extreme especially when the food is lacklustre.

Celery bread was excellent, my shrimp was the best I have ever had. The pecan pie was also the best I've had.
