Rebecca is by far, the most professional stylist I've ever had! Her dedication to every artistic detail, natural ingredients that are good for you and your hair, and constant education is awesome! Her chemical knowledge is vast; whenever I've had questions, she can easily explain the ins and outs of ingredients, colours, and so much more. Artistic, caring, knowledgeable and fun, Rebecca is a gem!

I was so anxious when i arrived but Rebecca quickly put me at ease with her expertise and obvious love of her craft. It was a completely delightful experience and highly recommend. I arrived feeling haggish but left feeling lovely and pampered.

Rebecca, thanks again for the great cut and highlights ...after my bad hair experience while out of province last week you've fixed my choppy, uneven layers that I was left with. I'm no longer upset about the several inches of hair that was cut off by the other hairdresser (I only requested an inch or two). You listen to what your clients vision is regarding their hair and respect their wishes...along with recommendations that will help them reach the end result (if required). I appreciate the styling tips, it will solve some of the nasty bump" issues I've had in the past :-) The highlights you added look awesome and I can't tell you enough times how pleased I am!!."

When I contacted Frigid Hair to ask if they had any appointments that a working person could attend, I was delighted to hear that Rebecca had early evening appointments! After over a year of trying to grow my grey highlights out (I didn't want to do the temporary colors anymore or deal with the stripes of permanent colours) my over-shoulder-length hair was light on top, beige in the middle and dark damaged brown at the ends from hair colour of years gone by. Thinking that I would have to cut it all off to regain my natural colour with gray highlights, I had put of getting it done for months. When I arrived, Rebecca asked what I was hoping to achieve with the new hair do and I explained. And she truly listened!! Rebecca took the time to explain to me why, no matter what home hair colour I tried, it was coming out brassy or red. She whipped up a magic potion that she painted on my hair to remove the old colouring (not a bleach!) and the result was a beautiful blending of my natural to the previously coloured, with no lines and, most importantly, no visible damage! She then gave me a cut that still met my #1 criteria (to stay long enough to be able to pin it up) but gave it a light, wispy look that made it look fresh and full of body. I wish we had taken before and after pictures because the difference is amazing. But people should know, that if you don't go for a colour correction, cut or even a trim, it's worth the short drive to Blind Bay just to have this woman wash your hair! No full body massage could ever feel as good as the massage this woman gives when she shampoos! It was a wonderful experience, my hair was saved when I didn't think it would be possible, and it looks great! Highly recommended!! Thank you for being such an expert at your craft, Rebecca!!!

An appointment with Rebecca at Frigid Hair is like no other hair appointment anywhere. Not only do you benefit from her vast experience, but you get her undivided attention to detail!! Her scalp massages are out of this world fantastic!! I always leave loving my hair and I thoroughly enjoy every appointment!! You will never feel like just another client when Rebecca does your hair!! I have never found a better hairdresser, never, ever!!!

The other night while Rebecca was applying my highlights, the power went out. So, being her creative self, she hooked up a lantern, a speaker, and finished my highlights and colour by candlelight.Not only did my hair look fabulous by candlelight, it did when the power came on a few hours later. She's a true artist!

Besides being an interesting, unique and fun gal, Rebecca is also a very accomplished professional. She is constantly researching, she uses the best products for really healthy hair, she has a flair for styles and colours and more. Should I mention her salon is a masterpiece with a great view? Because it is !

Rebecca is amazing !! She listens to what you want and delivers with amazing results. I wish I could post a picture of the before and after so you could see just how talented this woman really is!! Rebecca is awesome! I love when a hairstylist is not afraid to step outside the box with you to do something amazing and different. She’s knows her stuff.
