Chillliwack General Hospital - Lot #1249

Horrible area. Lots of crime and creepy people walking around the area. Was followed to my car by a drunk person with blood everywhere he tried to get in my car and couldn't so he kicked and punched my car ,denting it. No security. Mayor needs to clean up that area.

Was able to get in super quickly thankfully but very frustrating when the nurse is telling me an ear infection is worse then my child whose terribly dehydrated sick can't keep anything down and very sick. I asked approximately how long of a wait and how many hours before we would be seen and if we should just go to children's hospital. She looked at me and said there are people dying and one doctor on staff for the whole hospital. 100% I would have gone to children's hospital if I thought my son could hold out that long and if I would have known there was 1 doctor for the whole hospital. Definitely terrible experience and would definitely recommend going to another hospital if your able too. Absolutely redicoulous that 1 doctor would be on for the whole hospital.....

The staff in 4 South surgery are on another level. My 2 weeks there should have been an absolutely miserable experience.....it most definitely was NOT. Thank you to everyone for taking such good care of me.

Went here for chest pains and they took me in right away. They ran every single test and the doctor and nurses were absolutely compassionate and very sweet. Thanks for making my scary day a lot better

Majority of the hospital units are run efficiently and with care. However, the emergency unit is overburdened and wait hours of 5 to 8 hours are not uncommon. While the majority have emergency staff are friendly and professional, there are those at check-in that seem burnt out and just don't care anymore. When I need to go to emergency I drive to Hope general hospital where they are always friendly

Only gave 1 star because I had to give it something to comment my dismay at the lack of compassion and empathy from the staff at this hospital.I went to emergency thinking I had a concussion from work and they did absolutely NOTHING to address my reason for being there, except to get my info and take my temperature and heart rate.I ended up leaving after 3 hours of noone helping me walk, the waiting, 2 times of being told the Dr. will be in soon" and then hearing a staff lady say to a male staff member (I could only presume was the Dr) "we're just waiting for her to calm down". I was suffering from an intense migraine

Parking was a bit packed. But let's be honest it's a hospital. There is free parking if you don't mind a short walk

Friendly organized staff, decent accommodation, I missed breakfast and lunch and was gone before dinner so I can't say anything about anything on the menu. I'll visit again surely.

Hubby in for day surgery while using bathroom noticed the light fixtures had a lot of dead bugs in them since we are jus coming into bug season these are at the very least last years on the plus side hubby was well cared for in every way!
