Bought a stairmaster. Used. Spent 11 hours driving. $300 in gas to get it and $2100 on the stairmaster. Got it home and plugged it in. Machine worked fine on the lowest setting. Tried to increase speed. Screen was delayed. Then it started clunking and banging around and stopping on its own. Contacted the owner. Told him the issue. Had a tech come to look at it. Said he was not sure what it would need to fix but likely a frame issue. The owner of smart choice said he would pay to repair it. Never did. Pay for the tech visit. The problem could not be fixed. The machine was junk. Owner of smart choice refused to return it and give me my money back. Nice enough guy. But sold me a piece of junk that i needed for my heart issue. Machine is going for scrap. Should be noted i was told it had been serviced. But when the tech came. He had to tighten and replace missing bolts and had to adjust and lubricate the chains which i was told were new and they def were not. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere for equipment. .

My search for an elliptical has been a journey. Why did I not come here first. I explained my need to Clayton There was lots of selection. I picked one and tried it. I was sold.People stop looking elsewhere. Clayton has lots of fitness machines. I purchased a Life Fitness Stepmill and was not disappointed with it. Clayton provided great customer service and upon delivery was right on time and was able to unload machine with no problem. Machine is still going strong and is by far my favourite piece of equipment. Thanks Clayton!

Amazing customer service went out of his way to help us lift a very heavy treadmill into a rental truck then trying to get the treadmill in the house I ran into a problem with getting something off so I called and was walked through on what the wires where for and if I needed to worry about them getting damaged or not I can't thank enough for this as I was lost on what to do will update after a while once machines gets used more from what I can see very competitive pricing and again above and beyond on the customer service thank you so much

Very professional service. All products were delivered as discussed. Products aren't new so have to give everything a good look in the showroom, but Clayton and his team deliver a personalized and thoughtful experience that takes the pressure out of finding the right bike/fitness equipment. I purchased a Precor Eliptical Trainer back in October and I am so disappointed in the quality of the equipment. I appreciate the equipment is used, however, when paying $1200 one would expect it would last longer than 5 months. Worst of all, I have reached out to Smart Choice multiple times to make them aware of the situation and have yet to receive a response. It’s clear I was sold a very old piece of equipment that was on its last life. With taxes and delivery I invested $1800 in a piece of equipment that can barely be used. Perhaps this is a one off and just bad luck, but I would encourage others to give the equipment a good test before purchasing.
