Ritual Salon Spa Brow Bar

Booked an nail appointment for my mom and myself: gel polish removal and regular polish application for my mom and a gel polish change for myself. I was charged $40 for a gel polish change…..other salons charge $25-30 to remove existing polish, reshape nails and apply new gel polish, I found this to be expensive in general but especially expensive for the subpar work that was done.They only have one electric nail drill- so while it was being used on me, my mom just had to wait for her service to begin.My mom requested an oval shape for her nails and was given a square shape, each nail looks different and was not provided the shade of nail polish she requested. The nail “specialist” responded by saying that she would be be late for their next appointment if they would’ve applied the color that my mom picked…2 stars for the pretty decor lolUPDATE:The nail technicians commented several times that my mom and my nails were extremely strong. The picture shows evidence of poorly applied nail polish, not the strength of nails. We arrived to our appoint ON TIME at 11:45- if it was entered into your system at 11:56- that isn't in our control as customers who do not have access to your systems.My mom's nails were filed using a filer AND the shellac was stripped down with a nail drill, meaning the nail tech deemed her nails strong enough for a nail drill. It is well within a customer's rights to ask to try on a polish shade before choosing a color, the colors were regular polish, easy to remove and reapply. At the end of the day, my mom didn't receive the SHAPE or COLOR that she desired (to reiterate, she asked for OVAL, and GREEN polish).After my mom made her decision, the nail technician informed my mom that the polish she choose would require 4 coats and that she didn't have enough time to accommodate for that polish shade as she needed to get ready for her next appointment and my mom had to pick a different color.As a note, the price isn't an issue. I'm just surprised that polish change does not include the actual removal of shellac polish (it is an additional $10). I came in with shellac polish, was charged $10 for removal and $30 for re-shaping my STRONG" nails and reapplication of shellac polish.It is always disappointing when we can do a better job ourselves at home. Got a haircut done here for the first time. Ging gave me an excellent volume and fresh look. Very friendly and accommodating staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommended and they have gained a long term customer.

I’ve been here a few times for massages and lash tints, but my last visit was back in August 2022 for a facial.I still think about this facial and it’s been MONTHS.My facialist was Maryam- she was fantastic. Friendly, gentle, and when I asked for extractions, she went in! Not to mention the atmosphere is soothing, dimly lit, really the perfect relaxing experience you look for when getting a spa treatment.I believe I received the hydro/moisturizing facial, and remember quite literally GLOWING after she had finished.I’m making this review months later to show the impression this experience left on me!About to book another massage and facial combo to treat myself for the new year. Very much looking forward to it :)

Stay Away!I had the most horrible experience here. If I could give negative star rating, I would. MIRIAM from RITUAL SALON SPA did my pedicure and could not be any worse. She lost her temper when I said I do not have flip flops to wear after the pedicure. It was cold outside and I did not want to fall sick. I told her I'll wait till the nail color dries but she still kept shouting. Eventually the nail color dried and I went back wearing my usual shoes as I had expected. I don't understand why the salon does not carry nail drying fans or fast dry nail polish which I have seen in other salons. She gave me rubber flip flops later. Woman, if you had rubber flip flops, could you not have suggested that earlier instead of disrespecting me?!!!Then she did a pathetic job filing one of my nails till the point that it started bleeding and she had to put a bandage on it. My foot is still hurting after a day. For the price that they charge, I had expected at least an average service if not excellent. MIRIAM was rude, unprofessional and downright mean.I am never going here again!!And please when you respond to my review, DON'T start defending your cheap service!

First time coming here and I got a long hair cut as well as a curtain bang cut done by Diane. Loved my experience here! Diane did an amazing job for my hair. Very accommodating and friendly. Pays attention to detail very well, you can tell she really enjoys her work. Felt very comfortable throughout my service. She is definitely my new go-to hairdresser! Highly recommend her.

I had my first appointment at Ritual today for Eyebrow threading and a haircut.The threading was so smooth and painless especially since I have sensitive skin and I've had a few accidents in the past but the technician was sooo good and careful. She did a great job.My haircut was done by Diane and she took my boring long hair and turned it into a nice spunky short hair style that I love so much. She added some bounce for my crown since my hair is very thin and it made a big difference.

Had a delightful massage and facial with Sandy today. I’m also an esthetician and can be a nervous client who also has some claustrophobia. Sandy was very understanding and kind towards me. We even had a nice chat about our work industry!I need to add that this gal has a really lovely pressure with her relaxation massage technique and I personally know and understand that it’s not an easy skill to achieve. Thank you so much Sandy!!

She is the most knowledgeable, friendliest, and the most patient stylist I know. She will make your visit comfortable, engaging, and fun! I've seen Diane working with other clients, and I can confidently say that she makes every person walk out of that salon feeling blissful, refreshed, and exquisite!
