Nyla and her husband saved me from a horrific vomiting incident! They have a great selection of clothing, in excellent condition. I would definitely buy from them again!

Shopping pre-loved for my kiddos has never been easier thanks to Lode Store! Love their beautifully curated (and never gendered) collections and with NO minimum price for free shipping in Toronto, you can literally never go wrong. I’ve gotten so many great pieces for both my kids, and they’re some of our favourites in their wardrobes! Nyla, the owner, is also a lovely human being who gives back to her community through monthly donations and annual clothing drives. I can’t wait to visit her new bricks and mortar store when I visit that end of the city!

We are big fans of LODE! Whether ordering online or shopping at their new storefront, the items we've received have always been in exceptional condition and as expected. We always get lots of compliments on our LODE outfits and highly recommend this store if you're looking to save on quality items or help the environment by minimizing the impact of fast fashion. Plus - the owner is really nice and spreads a lot of good in the world.

Absolutely love the Lode Store! Everything I have purchased for my son has been impeccable, adorable and unique! I think it’s amazing that it’s encouraging everyone to give second and third lives to perfectly great clothes - this is the way we should be shopping and teaching our kids to do so in the future as well!Got the chance to drop by since the storefront location has opened and it is a lovely space!Excited to do some more holiday shopping at Lode and for the book subscription I signed up for to arrive this month! ❤️Will continue to spread the word about Lode!

LODE a store is a magical place. I can’t rave enough about the owner and her entire philosophy on children’s clothing. Genderless, zero waste (even the clothing tags), gives back to the community and donates a percentage of all sales to extremely worthwhile causes. LODE Store doesn’t accept anything that the owner wouldn’t put on her own kids (no HBC because All Children Matter etc.) and the items are always clean and in excellent condition. The owner goes as far as pointing out why certain toys / books are problematic in the most kind way. The store’s influence alone has made me a better consumer. LODE Store rules.

There is no baby clothing and gear shop in Toronto quite like Canopy Kids (previously LODE). Our 13 month old is fit almost entirely in a Canopy pre-loved wardrobe. All online and in-store items are vetted carefully by Canopy's fearless founder, Nyla, who goes above and beyond to get to know her clients in the most thoughtful ways. I find the most magnificent gems on Canopy Kids, from vintage overalls to sweet one-of-kind sweaters to a diverse collection of books and toys. We were initially drawn to Canopy Kids because it doesn’t categorize items by gender - which is a very important value in our household. Our kiddos grow way too fast to buy new. Canopy Kids ensures we can feel good about what our kiddos are wearing and they get to look great.

Excellent customer service online and in store. Great clothes, shoes, toys, and books. They also have a mending service I’m very excited to use. I bought pants for my daughter yesterday that had previously been mended by their service. I love how they are making it so easy for me to make sustainable choices while dressing my babies.

I recently made my first order from Lode Store's online shop. I shopped entirely from my iPhone, while nursing, and it was incredibly easy to navigate and find lots of great items (I ordered a winter jacket and two cute vests for my 6-month old daughter). I placed the order past the weekly cut off for local delivery, but two days later the order showed up on my front porch in the west end! All three of the items were in immaculate condition, and even cuter in person than in the online photos. I now look forward to the weekly online drop" posts on Instagram to see what's new! I will definitely be ordering from Lode Store again (and again...). My only complaint is that things sell too quickly
