Silver Birch Resort

I’ll start by saying it is a nice place. Lots of good people there. But the management are the worst i have ever dealt with. I have been there 10 years and I got kicked out for telling Them there was a lack of communication. One day you go to the office they are friendly and easy to deal with. The next morning he could be snapping at people for the smallest things and too contrary to talk to. His mood changes one extreme to the next. They have a nice place there but the current manager is not a people person at all. Can’t deal with situations when they arise. Most time when you go to pay for something they say “we are too busy come back tomorrow or next week”. Very poorly run by management.

Horrible service. Over charged for camp site and didn't refund. All els was clean and a nice lake and playground

What a beautiful resort with all the amenities of home....places to camp, cabins for rent, a conference centre for group functions, a store, propane and gas, bbq rentals.

We loved every time we stayed in these beautiful rustic log cabins! We're looking forward to seeing what it's like in the summer as we've only been in the winter. Beautiful view and my 2 girls love the 2 loft beds! We will stay here again and again! Keep up the great work Silver Birch!

We were out visiting for a wedding but will definitely be back camping, a beautiful lake and a decent way aways from the bustle of the city. They have cabins for rent a well that were just off the lake that are good for a few people.

Great get away at an unbeatable price

Excellent venue for a great many activities (it has it's own rodeo grounds), cabins are available to rent year round. Just remember to bring your own bedding and towels( twin and queen mostly), very picturesque views from your front door of your cabin. A/C and heated, very cute little kitchens, my cabin had a shower so I would guess the other cabins are similarly equipped. Equipped with TV for those days or evenings that you just want to spend time snuggling on the couch.

There was 7 of us and we stayed in the duplex #5. The pullout couch was broken so they kindly gave us #6 when I asked, because it was vacant. If they hadn't of done that I would have been quite upset, because for the price $150/night I expected everything to function. Some of our issues - no showerhead in #6, neither BBQ or oven didn't work for #5. Because we could use both, we made it work though. Other than that, they are very appealing to the eye! Beautifully decked out with a deck, but shared. Bring own bedding and towels. Next time we stay, we want to check out one of the cabins #1 - #4, #7 - #10 which are lake front.F/U - Owner of the resort called me a few weeks after my review to say the issues above had been dealt with. I look forward to going back :)

Amazing campground. They have seasonal lots, day to day lots or cabins for rent. The lake is amazing, you can use your boat there if you have one. Tons of trails to dire quads/bikes. They have a convenience store, laundry and showers at site. Every year they have a rodeo weekend which is lots of fun, with rides, food, dances, fireworks and 3 days of awesome rodeo fun.

We rented two cabins right on the beach and we had such an incredible time. There was 6 kids in total and they had so much fun at the park and in the water. They have a toddler park and a big kid park. The beach was very clean. The area is so quiet and private. We almost always had the whole place to ourselves. The cabins were very comfortable and clean. The kids had fun walking to the store to buy treats. We’re going to make this a yearly event!
