Good looking menu and dishes. Carpaccio was more like scallopine, (thin steaks), so if you not into rare steak I would avoid it.The lobster pasta is not entirely lobster, it had a large amount of imitation lobster" which is the same as imitation crab

Very nice, excellent service, good wine and beer selection. A little light on vegetarian and vegan options. Pasta Puttanesca sauce was spectacular, but the capellini was over cooked and mushy. Appetizer bread tasted reheated and a little stale not freshly baked. Risotto croquettes were ok, but not spectacular. A little overpriced for my taste, but not out of line for a restaurant of this calibre.

I’ve dined in Gabriella’s multiple times over the past year and have had nothing but incredible experiences. However, tonight was my partner and I’s 1 year anniversary so we decided to go to Gabriella’s since it’s our favourite restaurant in Rossland and everything was going great UNTIL one of the hostesses/waitress (wasn’t sure because she wasn’t the one who was attending our table earlier?) brought us the wrong food which is fine!! I’ve been in the serving industry before and mistakes happen! BUT it was the way she handled it which upset us so much. After she placed the dishes down, I said “I don’t think these are ours”. She responded by saying “well you should have said something before I put them down” in a very snarky and rude tone. It completely threw my boyfriend and I off as we weren’t expecting such rude attitude. Our main waitress and the host who was filling up our water did an EXCELLENT job tonight, but the hostess/waitress with the short hair who gave us the snarky attitude threw us off for the rest of our meal. Not what we wanted when we were celebrating our anniversary. Anyways that’s my only complaint - otherwise, the food is outstanding and service has been excellent despite our one experience today.

We were a bit disappointed Rossland didn't have more restaurants open during high ski season. Unable to get a reservation after 4 pm anywhere in town. Showed up to restaurant, they squeezed us in. Waited over an hour and a half for food, But there wasn't really any where else to go and they gave us a pick of any drink gratis! Well done

The food quality has really gone down hill, the service almost as bad. In 1.5 hours we had 2 drinks and only because we had to chase down the second one (which was received 30 minutes later). The quality of the steak was low, rib eye’s should not be tough, and it was under cooked. It’s the first rib eye I did not finish. The Arancini came out cold. We wanted to eat good food and consume good drinks and we left without achieving either.

Disappointing. We were here two years ago and we were very pleased with both the food and service. This year was very disappointing. The rib eye steaks were tough and under seasoned. The salmon was dry and the risotto balls were less than luke warm. We had to flag someone down for drink refills. The waitress was apologetic, but could not make up for the very poor quality food. We will not return.

Great breakfast options. Hash Bowl for the win! Dinner is also excellent here as well. Worth checking out both meals if staying longer in the area.
