The business was originally started by the owners father who saw a need for a Custom Seating options when the hospital he work for a closed down in the early 80s. It literally is a workspace for them to build the various seats. The consultation process is usually in three phases is an occupational therapist and the person requiring the seat in addition to the Craftsman. First session is usually pulmonary measurements with a rudimentary seat followed by at least two other visits to achieve the final product . After which a period of further adjustment can be arranged. I was very impressed. And I have had several scooters and wheelchairs in my lifetime thus far.

Although I only spoke to Rich over the phone and by email, but he has showed me so much respect, empathy, compassion and care. He was even willing to come all the way to my home to measure me for a wheeled commode. I had to insist for him not to come because I am very sick and I would feel horrible if anything happened to such a sweet man like him. Because my employer is cutting my benefits since I was unable to work, I asked Rich to adjust the receipt so he could receive the full amount of my benefits, but because he is such an ethical man he did not do that. Rich said that even if he was able to do this for me for free that would be his compensation. I am so touched and my faith in humanity has been completely restored. I admire this man so much.
