A1 Airline Taxi & van

Rude and dishonest driver charged me 73 from airport, stating flat rate 58+15 Van addition. Called the company to verify next day, total should be 48+10 van addition. What a shame for allowing such a company to welcome visitors to our country!

Hailed a taxi , gave the driver the address, he then drove out on the highway and then conveniently remembered the address was the car rental back at the terminal. Very unprofessional and took advantage of myself and my family who were tourists. $35 dollars he charged to bring me back to the same place. Upon talking to another taxi man later in the week he advised me that all taxi men know the address I gave as being the airport address.

The taxi driver looked at the rate sheet when we arrived to our house from the airport and said: It is $75."

I travel for work 8 months of the year and always use taxis even though everyone tells me I should be using Uber. Tonight I was charged $49 for a 9 minute ride to a nearby Toronto airport hotel. Driver said he was charging us an extra $15 because we had 4 bags with us. The Uber rate was $24 when we checked. Needless to say I just downloaded and added Uber to my phone.

This company charged me $30 for a journey of 3km which took about 3 minutes. I know there is an airport charge but this is price gouging at its worse. I now know why people are moving away from traditional taxi services and switching to Uber etc. I will never use A1 Airline Taxi & Van again, and I strongly encourage others to avoid them as well.

Driver 663. I took flights from vegas 2 golf bags and 4 suitcase less then 2 weeks ago and was charged 70 . This week driver 663 charged me 80 and doesn't lift a finger. Then tells me after me loading all the bags if i want another car get one. Now there is a huge line at the airport . Really. Complete screw job .

Dishonest, and shady. Our rate sheet clearly indicated $53 charge, and he then asked us for $5 more if we'd be ok with 407, we said yes. So why charge us $70? Really disgusting, I'm glad customers are coming here and reviewing your shady business.

I have never encountered a driver so unprofessional. I needed a short ride from Pearson to a nearby parking facility where I left my car. Upon encountering the driver, I apologized immediately upon greeting him that I wasn't going very far. Hearing this, he slammed the trunk on my luggage, almost slicing my fingers in the process and exclaimed Jesus Christ" in exasperation. He proceeded to sigh and heave the entire way. He took me to the wrong parking facility and I ended up having to give him directions to the right parking lot. I was astounded at his unprofessional attitude and I pity him for being such a sad human being."

The driver of a mini van car number 401 who just picked us up from Pearson to drop us off at Ajax tonight (June 22nd) at approximately 9pm was absolutely rude. I will NEVER recommend or take this taxi service again and will ensure that I submit a bad review with every opportunity I get on the web. My husband asked this driver to make a quick stop at the bank. We had just gotten off a plane and didn't have enough cash on hand to pay him. The bank is located 2min away from our home and upon being asked to stop, he accused my husband of playing games". He drove us to the bank and continued on his nasty rant and accusations. We had no choice but to take our luggage

Total rip off. He told us if we pay cash there's a 8$ discount from 58$. He also didn't put the rate meter on, and he didn't use a navigation device to get to our condo. when we first got in the car and told him our address he asked what it was near we told him square one, he drove to square one and we had to tell him where to go to get to our house. I highly recommend taxi-ing out of the airport then getting an uber the rest of the way, they're at least friendly. And you know the price of the trip before you even book it.
