Earl is not only an amazing teacher but also an amazing human being. When I first joined EVN studios I was someone who lacked confidence and didn’t believe I could pursue a career in acting. People have doubted me my entire life and it carried with me going into acting school but Earl helped change that. He made me believe that I could become an actor and with his mentorship, my confidence has increased both on and off screen.His approach to teaching is unlike anyone else. It is spiritual where it forces you to look beyond just dialogue and into the world around you but also practical allowing you to practice what you learn on camera. His classes teach you how to think, feel, and be present in the moment.Earl really cares for his students and pushes them to work hard but always takes time to listen to any concerns, ideas or life choices that they wish to share as well. Earl is a fantastic teacher and coach. He brings a lot of life experience to the class and encourages us to experience life ourselves to help us get in touch with characters. He knocked a lot of bad habits out of my technique and helps me to be more present when performing!
