Village Tower Apartments - Skyline Living

We love our apartment and found the staff to be very pleasant, kind , courteous and friendly! Who we are not happy with are all the noisy neighbours who call and complain about everything…from a small propane fire pot to feeding the blue jays and squirrels ! Really ! I’m not happy, I love squirrels we have one we call tripod he has 3 legs and one eye, I’m worried about him surviving the winter! I wonder if EVERYONE was told to stop feeding them, I also wonder if someone is allowed to tell you not to feed them. I know Skyline staff are only doing their job so no bad feelings toward them at all! But everyone else should keep their noses in their own life, we bother no one!

Good luck trying to get sleep in these buildings tenants are constantly banging on the walls, running down the hallways just no respect what so ever or just no common sense, shopping carts constantly going up and down the hallways everyday, the walls are paper thin I can literally hear my neighbour’s conversation clear as day, also other tenants try to break in same with skyline staff they just help themselves in so be sure to put a camera in your apartment

Worst! Worst! Worst! I would suggest do not rent over here no matter how bad you need a rental place. Becoz this whole building has insect problems please check the pictures before u think to rent at this place. Management does not do anything about it. They won’t even let you terminate the lease because I think nobody wants to live in this place and they force the people to live please check out the pictures

I've been here less than 2 months and already I've had A) money taken from my bank account without permission or reason and they couldn't find one to give. B) no water on multiple occasions due to the boiler room having leaks or whatever. Some tenants are very kind, but the super, Tanya is extremely ignorant and rude and doesnt grasp simple concepts and I dont think she has any idea what shes doing. Skylines is cheap and was the only place I could find in a weeks time but if I can find a way out of this lease, you're darn right I'm going to. Worse than homestead as far as I'm concerned.

Came to view an apartment here that was advertised at $1085 a month and available now. Upon viewing the apartment I asked what the rent was and was told that it is $200 more a month than it was advertised for. When i asked why, I was told that apartments are rented for more $ based on whether they are considered premium" units

Skyline Living is an absolutely terrible company. I had issues with leaving the apartment due to incompetent staffing not relaying my termination papers in time to head office. Nor did they take the time to inform me of this, after multiple attempts to contact the rental office. In turn, they were able to gain months of additional rent which in most cases would have been fine… Until they sent a bill for cleaning and repairs almost totalling $1800 three months later! Mind you, nothing was damaged! Or I in fact never had the items in question the begin with (missing window screens; yes I never had window screens.) When I sent a letter and multiple phone calls to contest the charges I did not receive any response. Now, five months after the letter and calls were made, I received a letter from their collection agency". I contacted their agent named “Nelson" to have him yell at me

Rude staff, roaches no matter how many times you get the place treated & they have different rules for people that aren’t on the first floor. Also, they never fix any of the problems you bring up to i.e: leaky ceiling, leaky toilet and water issues.

!!!WARNING!!! place is sad enough in a bad area but the people running this place are absolutely horrible only bar for one lady but every one here especially the manager are the worst I've seen don't feel safe in our own apartments be careful they allow there workers to come and go inside your apartment as you please its disgusting !!!WARNING!!!!So you have no rights here you lose them as soon as you tell them you're leaving make sure you all record everything and make sure everyone you see here gets held accountable.I would never ever recommend this place to anyone!!!

If your thinking of moving here, im telling you , if you value ur mental health , DONT MOVE HERE!!! The staff are very dismissive and rude. On multiple occasions the staff have come into my apartment when i wasnt home for inspections even after i asked them to come when i was home.when living there i had my toliet over flow and destroyed many of my belongings that arent replacable. When we files a complain the staff told us the toliet was our fault. Dont move here it is horribly managed
