Haunted Montreal

I have attended all three tours of Haunted Montréal as well as the paranormal investigation, and they were all SO well done, informative, creepy, and fun! I experienced three different guides, and they were all excellent. They really knew their history, and how to portray the stories in a highly dramatic style. Add to this their complete professionalism in marshalling the crowd of some 30 people across busy intersections or dark park areas at night, not to mention the rough terrain of the mountain - while maintaining the interest of all, effectively projecting their voices, and answering all questions - I would say this is a 5-star experience for tourists or residents who would appreciate an entertaining evening where they will learn some very interesting history from a different perspective!

The Haunted Pub Crawl was disappointing and not much of a crawl. For the first 1.5-2 hours, we sat in the same bar while the guide told us local ghost stories, half of the time in the basement next to a somewhat loud kitchen with its door open, and the other half on the 3rd floor of the same bar. Then we finally left to go to a 2nd bar and heard more stories, but was only at that location for about 30-45 mins. It also went over by about 30-45 mins. The guide didn’t seem to have good time management skills for the tour and his stories were hard to follow. They all seemed to run together and there were so many stories. It felt like too much. It would’ve been more enjoyable if this was more of an actual pub crawl where we got to visit a few bars and had a few ghost stories. This felt more like sitting around and listening to a guy tell stories.

This hauntacular tour was filled with history and haunts alike. Donovan and Jason did an awesome job weaving together history and ghost stories as we walked through old Montreal. It is a must if you're in the area!

The haunted tour of Old Montreal was super fun! Our guide was a great storyteller and I felt like we learned a lot about the history of Old Montreal in a spooooky way :) I definitely think we will try another one next time we come to Montreal - you should too!

Good customer service

I booked a tour of Griffintown for a group of friends and I around Hallowe'en. We all thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The guide was truly committed to the role and was a great storyteller. The stories were very interesting. I would highly recommend for anyone that would like to explore Montreal better and learn a bit about the history. Plus it was nice do something out of the ordinary. I am looking forward to try the haunted mountain next!
