This being my first experience with a murder mystery show I was a little nervous on what to expect, but Smoking Gun Entertainment delivered on all fronts and made me feel comfortable in my choice to utilize their services.Smoking Gun Entertainment went the extra step in making sure all my needs as a customer were met. I had many alternative requests on top of the typical show and they worked with me to ensure that they did a great job in facilitating my plans and my evening went off without a hitch. The actors were quick witted, engaging and very humorous and always seemed to be having a great time, which in turn, had an effect of making my guests very comfortable and feeling highly entertained by the end of the night.I highly recommend anyone that wants to organize a party or a mystery night, to give Smoking Gun the opportunity to entertain and facilitate all your needs. They will treat your concerns with respect and won't make you feel forced into making an uninformed decision.

We hired a group of 4 roving characters for our Grinchmas themed Christmas Party in Canmore in December 2022. We had the Grinch, the Mayor, and 2 Whovians. I can’t express how amazing the cast was! Especially the Grinch, he really stole the show!! We are so happy we did this! The creativity and energy it provided was exactly what we needed to sell our theme. If I ever need another group of roving characters, you bet it will be from this team! I had so many attendees comment on their interactions with the cast and how it made the night. I’m sure the volume of selfies and videos I saw our staff taking with them indicates how much they enjoyed it! We even had staff questioning whether they were staff who dressed up – totally blended in well! Well done and 5 stars well earned!

Smoking Gun was fantastic! We held a Virtual Murder mystery and our host brendan was amazing - he never broke character all while still directing us and keeping us on track. Highly recommend!

Our professional conference was recently entertained at dinner with Smoking Gun’s ‘Resort to Murder’ performance which was an absolute hit with the entire crowd. Never has an evening with our 80+ bunch been so unforgettable. The depth of immersion the actors played their roles, their hilarious and unannounced interactions with many of us, the intrigue of the story and the play’s integration into our ranks made for one of the best conference evenings ever. The laughing truly never stopped and when it was over, it was a pleasure being able to talk with the actors and their craft. I am certain we will be inviting these folks back to regale us with another episode of fun and murder in the not distant future!

We hired Smoking Gun Entertainment for our annual company event, and had so much fun! I received such great feedback from the staff after the show. They thought the show & actors were hilarious, and special kudos to Mat and his improv skills – being able to roll with the staff reactions. It was better than any of us were expecting…so much laughs! Our CEO had also mentioned that he has worked with quite a few improv actors before, but none performed as great as the team we got with Smoking Gun Entertainment. Amazing time overall!!Thanks so much to the team for being so organized, and helping the event go off without a hitch. Really appreciate it.

We had SGE come to our daycare Christmas party in November. We laughed so hard we cried!! Our educators said it was the best Christmas party they have been at. We loved it!! We did CLUE Murder is Not a Game" and found all the weapons. Some got right into it

We had Brendan and the Smoking Gun crew to our smaller Christmas party this year and it was impressive how well they make it all work. They kept our crew in stitches and even took the time to make Carmen's experience extra special. They are very engaging and really do bring the whole group together while having fun at your individual tables. I would have no issues recommending their troup for any entertaining that you might have planned. Please do look ahead at your venue as we didn't realize that we wouldn't have any other spot but a bathroom for them to change, for which I sincerely apologize but please do not be us and have a proper change room for them. Most impressive is the fact that they just rolled with it and made it no big deal.Thanks Smoking Gun, you put the smoke in the gun and deliver it all in a great performance!

We had a great time at our Murder Mystery party! We had a small group of guests 8 people in all, then 5 actors. It was a blast to interview them throughout our evening as they integrated themselves into our group. this was a staff Christmas party and we will certainly consider doing this again, as our guests all expressed how much fun it was! Had so much fun trying to figure out who dun'it at the Mistletoe Mall. Thanks so much for providing some pretty hilarious antics and a totally different twist to our annual Xmas party.
