Abigail's Collection & The Groom’s Room

After having a really poor experience at a different suit hire shop we did not have much hope but Rob and the team at the Grooms Room completely exceeded our expectations, their customer service was second to none from start to finish!On our first meeting Rob was really personable and gave us lots of his time. He is incredibly knowledgable and was able to answer all our questions, we had a great evening and also laughed a lot.We hired 10 suits in total, there were a few sizing issues when we collected them but staff sorted this for us efficiently. Every visit to the store we received such a warm welcome, there is such a friendly atmosphere amongst the team.The suits looked amazing on the day, the men all received lots of compliments and they all fitted really well. I would highly recommend the Grooms Room, the best customer service you’ll get in Essex!!

Debra was a great help when we where choosing our wedding suits. They let us try in loads of different styles and different waist coat combinations until we found the prefect look for our wedding. They had a lot more options than some of the other suit places we have previously visited. We were always welcomed with a beer and glass of Prosecco, made it a good experience for all the groomsmen and dads! They also specially made a bow tie for our page boy to match the grooms waist coats which we got to keep, that was a really great touch. Everyone looked incredible on the day!

I cannot recommend Abigail’s enough to anyone looking for a really special experience when shopping for their wedding dress. I was able to bring my baby girl along with me to both my appointments which made everything feel more magical, but the team were so accommodating to us and our family; we felt really taken care of. The team were so excited to help me on my journey of finding the perfect dress - and I’m so pleased we did! I went to the Grooms Room at Abigail's Collection in Colchester to get suits for myself and my Groosmen.The shop is really clean and well presented. Since you have to make an appointment rather than simply walking in it means you have your own staff member to help you rather than waiting for someone else to finish.The staff are really knowledgeable and haveca good eye for what looks good. We were looked after really well and even offered a beer or two while fitting our suits.This place isn't the cheapest on the high street but the staff, experience and quality of the suits make it worth the little extra.

Today I said yes to the dress at Abigail's collection, Kelly was absolutely amazing! She made me feel so welcome and couldn't be more helpful. She really puts you at ease... I would highly recommend anyone wedding dress shopping to check this place out!!!

Both were very professional and friendly, and went above and beyond to make it a lovely experience! They have a wide range of stunning dresses and Kelly and Sophie made me feel comfortable in every one I tried on.

Abigail’s Collection & Groom’s Room were fantastic when providing the suits for my wedding. Every member of staff is very friendly and helpful. The whole experience from booking the first appointment, the fittings, which they were very flexible and accommodating with considering one of the party was travelling in South America, to the collection of the suits, was amazing. Got my dress from Abigail’s and the grooms suit from the grooms room.From the moment I entered I felt like a princess! The bridal part of Abigail’s collection is prefect. Very welcoming and in no way did I feel rushed!The boys all had a great time at their suit fitting and enjoyed the beer!Only issue was when we collected the suits and my husband had the wrong size jacket, incorrect waist coat and they provided everyone with ties instead of cravats.Rob was very quick to sort the issue and was very apologetic. Staff are extremely polite and professional.
