Meijer loved the selection except the produce boxes mine was molded and way iverproced $5 for a few earns of corn that was molded. I bought the same.corn not molded in the same store after returning my rottwd flashfood box for half the flashfood price. Produce is a scam. Milk and meats.and breads are decently priced.

The app is a scam... the OLD BAIT AND SWITCH routine. This is FRAUD and DISHONEST.(1) The photos in the app is not the same as the item you pick-up at the store....meat is gray and rotten, dairy and baked goods are green/white/moldy...(2) Customers pay for items and the stores claim they don't have the products.... they suggest you request for refund but....Good luck trying to get a refund.... they acknowledge your request but you'll never get your money back. They claim they're experiencing high volume of requests" and slow to respond.... it's been over a year and still no refund. Perhaps the "high volume of requests" translates to HIGH NUMBER OF REFUND REQUESTS and complaints.SAVE YOU TIME AND MONEY. DON'T PAY FOR ANYTHING UNTIL YOU HAVE THE PRODUCT IN YOUR HANDS!!"

I've bought groceries through Flashfood easily 20+ times and each times I'm fairly satisfied with the food I get. My local grocery store has new stuff on most days, however with the rising food prices and the growing popularity of this app I've noticed a slow decline in how often I'm able to snag a good deal on boxes of produce or meats. Pork related items (chops, loins, sausage, ham & bacon) seem to be the meat that's most often available. (in my region at least!) I've had 2 instances of me showing up too late" for my order and the order had been disposed of. The first time the employees made me a new box of veggies from the discounted section to replace the disposed-of one

It would be great, but they just increased a lot of prices and decreased the fruit and veggie boxes into small bakery bags. Produce isn’t really worth it anymore. Some stores regularly lose your items and you have submit Igor refunds, which is a lengthy process. It’s not very good anymore

I love saving money. Lately, I've been to no frills and Glen Erin. To date: 5 stolen boxes. Flashfood has little to no ability to train the employees at store level. You drive out to get your products and bam...money, time, gas all lost. Extra stress. I've given tons of feedback to try and help. We should all be able to improve. Wouldn't it be nice to get what you pay for, rather than showing up and getting nothing?

Be careful consumer! Price check items before you buy from Flashfood app. Some items are inflated over regular store price then discount by 50%. (i.e. ziggy’s 1kg pack of fresh linguini regular price at store is $10. Store advertises on Flashfood, an about to pass best before date item, that regular price was $16. They apply a 50% discount to reflect $8.Not all items are a good deal.Don’t get me started on the rotten vegetables they advertise.

Flashfood saves me money and even helps with decision fatigue since instead of staring at the entire meat case to figure out what to make for dinner, I open the app and grab what otherwise might go to waste. Refunds are easy on the very rare occasion when something isn't as described

I tried this twice and won't use it again for produce, because it is difficult to see the true condition" of fruits and veggies in the Flashfood photos. I have had incidences where peppers were very wrinkled and soft

I discovered this site quite by accident, word of mouth they say is the most powerful way of advertising. I had just come out of Superstore picking up 4 pounds of bananas, and other groceries, and the fellow parked beside me asked if I would like some bananas as his wife had just bought a case! I said of course and thanked him for his generousity. I asked why she bought so much and he laughed and said that the banana case cost $5-. I jumped at the chance to ask how, and was told to search out Flash Food on line. This is exactly what I did as soon as I got home. I have not regretted doing this. I started buying in the spring, I have save over $1000- and over 350 kms. How they track savings on kms I have no idea. Every box of produce I have bought has weighed no less than 10 pounds. I eat a ton of fruit and vegetables, so I go through apples, pineapples, cantelope, honeydews and oranges, potatoes, celery, you name it. I have bought their lean Superstore burger but it seems not as lean as buying the other leaner burger from other providers. Chicken, pork and fish have been good. Roasts have been a steal! See picture below. Once I had bad fish and was given replacement. Just don't buy fish on the expiry date, it smells and is slimy. You can't beat 50% off all the other meats. As far as Customer service is concerned they are great. Every now and then I am missing baked food I have paid for and they permit me to go and get similar items from inside the store. That is the downfall, where these items get taken by dishonest people. The foods should all be behind the customer service counters and loss of product would be less. The question is whether it would pay to put all this food behind counters and hire a person(s) to look strictly after Flash Food customers. The stores are getting better where they are giving the buyers of Flash Food 2-3 days earlier than the expiry date. Now they have frozen items for sale as well. If I had a bigger freezer it would be stocked in no time flat. This is a God send as I am a pensioner living on less than $1000/month. When I am not busy I check all the time because great deals come and go very quickly. If you're bored with surfing the net, try Flash Food. It's the next best thing to sliced bread!! You can't beat 50% or more off.

Please check what's going on with the independent at this location 685 River road. They NEVER have anything in the app. But when you go to customer service. They have a full fridge an items locked behind a clear glass door that says FLASHFOOD.But how?? If there is nothing in the app?I check every 5 minutes for the past month or two.NOTHING!!!
