Lewis Insulation

Lewis Insulation just did a spray foam insulation job at our home which we are extremely satisfied with. Brian was great to work with and a straight shooter. His crew was very good, helpful, and very customer oriented. Their bid was reasonable and my wife and I are are very happy with how they did their work and the end result. I recommend them highly.

Rich and Cornelio came to insulate the upstairs of our 1.5 story and we are blown away by how above and beyond they went. Rich even took a few minutes to fix my storm door because of a bad repair I'd done. They were so completely thorough and helpful. You can definitely tell they are super experienced too.

We recently moved to Eagan and during inspection, we were advised the townhouse is low on insulation (maybe 6 inches on average) and should blow more insulation in once closed. We were told that we could do it ourselves, but after youtubing it and realized that we're not handy enough to do so, we looked into getting it done by a pro. We also researched and found out that if done right, we may qualify for reimbursement from the gas company, MERC. I emailed 3 companies authorized by MERC, 2 responded quickly (including Lewis). Both were able to come out quickly to look at the townhouse on the following Tuesday (3/3) and provide an estimate. Both are booked out for a few months but did advise that they do get frequent cancellation, so they can try to squeeze us in if cancellation is received. Both advised that our insulation is actually less than 4 inches, which is really low. We went with Lewis Insulation. They originally scheduled me for mid April on Wednesday (3/4) but then quickly called me back that same afternoon. They had a last minute cancellation and was able to come on Thursday (3/5). They even emailed me the rebate form for MERC to sign and return to the workers when they come so they can file the paperwork for us. They came prepared the next morning, greeted us with courtesy, and cleaned up after work. We received notice from MERC that the rebate form has been received, and received the rebate check today (3/23). I find the whole experience with Lewis Insulation smooth, worry-free, and painless, which is important when we're busy and worried about everything else.

I was looking forward to working with this company and it ended in disappointment. I hired Lewis Insulation to do our insulation, instead without telling us, they subbed it out to Spray Foam Insulation Systems, Inc. The only reason I found out was because the truck that came had a different name on it. The product used in our attic is different than the one listed on Lewis Insulation’s website and we were not told about that. Our experience with Spray Foam Insulation Systems was not a good experience and Lewis Insulation takes no responsibility for the work done by their subcontractors. The lack of transparency was highly disappointing and I do not recommend this company.

These guys installed insulation in my attic. They showed up at the date/time expected, they were good about keeping the house clean laying down tarps and vacuuming when done. And it looks like they did a good job installing the insulation. I'm happy with them and would recommend.

We used them to spray in insulation between walls for soundproofing. They were quick, good price and they cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend them.

They insulated out attic and crawl spaces. They were very thorough in explaining what they would do and why, they were on time, they were extremely careful not to leave a mess, and they called to make sure we were satisfied with the work. Highly recommend them!
