I took the evening Makeup Artist course in 2003/2004. I had up to that point worked in cosmetics in a sales role and gained 7 years experience. Even with my experience, I found the course to be very helpful. The instructors helped me perfect my art. They gave constructive help. Christine gave advice & instruction on starting my own freelance business, which I did and was quite successful at. I took some years off from cosmetics, and am currently starting freelance work again in a different province. Thank you for sharing your expertise & experience with me back then. I still am using it now.

10/10!I graduated from the part time MU artistry program this year and I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Elegance.The instructors are kind, patient, educated and very hands on making it a fun and comfortable environment to be inThe kit is also packed with beautiful palettes and products- affordable too

Recently took the Manicure Course at Elegance Schools Inc. Despite the unpredictable health regulations Lisa and Jessie were both able to offer the students a very clean, social distance, in class experience with all the proper tools to stay safe and sanitized. They also get back to you asap if you have an questions or concerns. I will be going back for the other classes they offer!

Highly suggest the teacher (maybe also an owner?) gets on the same page as their students as far as communicating time.Upon showing up at the allotted time for the appointment I was notified 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment that the teacher communicated the wrong date/time to the student...again. This happened on 2 separate occasions. Don't really have many week nights to spend on things like this, I'd rather book with somewhere more respectful of my time.Not impressed, and I will continue going to Queen of the Nile as they are always punctual and communicate extremely well with their clients!Edit in response to owner:As mentioned above, both times I showed up for the scheduled appointment I was messaged 5 minutes before my appointment was due to start that the teacher communicated the wrong time to the student and I had to come back a different day/time. In the end I just cancelled because I couldn't keep booking nights off. So no, you wouldn't have records because the appointment never ended up happening.

I did not like how the owners did not reply to my concern about a charge that was slipped into my bill without my knowledge. They also did not have enough supplies such as nail polish and a mirror to look after getting facial wax. I was told microdermabrasion is effective for eye milia but the owner said no without explanation or other suggestion. Owners don’t have good communication skills and charges are too high for student work also considering there are just stainless steel basins and chairs for pedicures when I was there.

Do not offer good refund policies. They ordered a kit for me and I'm obviously dropping the course so they charge me for it? $700 total for cancelling before the first class. Not like they won't sell to another student anyways...As for what the school is worth, I talked to people at Sephora and if you're good regardless of education, they want you.Save your money.

This past week I got a pedicure and facial done at Elegance. The space is extremely clean, modern, and has a great ambiance. I had my services done by Montana who was extremely professional, friendly and kind. I would highly recommend going here for any beauty needs ☺️

I graduated from the make up artistry course in 2013 and currently taking the full time Esthetics course and loving it.make up artistry is part of the course and it makes me happy cause I wanted a refresher on make up with the ever changing products and styles.All the instructors and staff are so wonderful and have made this whole experience memorable.I cant wait to come back and take other courses.

Graduated 2020 full time Esthetics course here at Elegance, and I wouldn’t want it any other way :) Lisa and Christine are great leaders who are both ready to listen if you have a concern or question. They’re very passionate in what they learn and are always there for you as a friend. The teachers are amazing as well, Reena is there for you, even when you’re asking the most silliest of questions she is always ready for a professional response! — both Megan and Jessie were a pleasure as well, both wonderful teachers who are fun to talk to and learn great nail tricks from! Janet was also a great tutor when it came to anatomy, her classes were well taught and very stress free! All around if you’re wanting a great place to learn this is it :) I am more than proud of where I am today and I wouldn’t be if it weren’t with the help from these amazing ladies! Thank you so so much!

I've been coming here on and off for glycolic facials for a few years and they always do a fantastic job. Every student has been extremely knowledgeable and professional. I like that the instructor comes around to confirm the student's skin analysis before starting the treatment.
