I had the best experience at Mackenzie Fireplaces! I've been shopping around for some time, and this shop had the best service and most knowledgeable staff by far. As someone who is not knowledgeable on fireplaces myself, it was so helpful to have someone walk me through the process and take all of my needs into consideration. Glen and Mary had supplied and installed one indoor and one outdoor fireplace for my home several years ago and recently supplied one for my office. I had incorrectly measured the size an electric fireplace and they patiently worked with me to resolve the situation. They were incredibly helpful and professional. Recently, a client had trouble turning off her newly installed fireplace on a warm fall day, her and I couldn't figure it out over the phone so I advised she call Glen. I was a walk-in at Mackenzie Fireplaces and was made to feel like I had booked an appointment. Every detail and explanation of all products was so thorough and interesting. It was definitely a pleasure and worth visiting and pricing was reasonable.

Bought the Barbara Jean outdoor fireplace after shopping around at a few places. After 2 long years of Covid, it was important for me to try and support our local businesses. I purchased the fireplace several weeks before actually installing it. When I finally did, I had a very mysterious problem. My pilot light kept going out. What good was a remote control if the pilot kept going out 2 minutes after starting it? I went back to see Glenn and he agreed to have his gas guy (Jeff) look at it. This guy is a pro at this stuff. I used one key word during his visit and he was able to pinpoint the problem. I told Jeff I’m getting a really good flame, so it can’t be a gas issue, but for some reason the flame keeps getting “snuffed” out. He immediately asked to see the pool pump room where he identified an access panel for the shutoff valve that had no cover. This created enough of a backdraft to snuff out the pilot. In the end, McKenzie stood by their product, addressed my issue and validated my decision to buy local. Great job team Mckenzie!

They are kind, trustworthy, amazingly professional and the icing on the cake - the best priced!If you're looking for SS outdoor accessories, fireplaces, high CFM hoods, BBQ grils, you would be doing yourself a disservice not reaching out to them.
