I bought the Flash Dance Soundtrack from Vinyl Spin YVR at a vintage fair. Meeting the Proprietor in person and being able to have a chat made the whole experience so memorable. Love my record! I have gotten multiple albums from Josh at Vinyl Spin. Josh takes shopping for vinyl to a whole new level with the amount of knowledge that he has about the albums. If you have the time he will surely tell you things you had no idea about the artist & band. Thats what makes it such a great shopping experience along with the selection of albums he has also. Love the recycled coasters he makes out of old scratched albums!

I had the pleasure of buying some records from Josh slightly before he created Vinyl Spin YVR, and I loved it. Honestly I was selfishly sad to see him move to Vancouver because I would have happily bought more records from a person who cares as much about the music as he does the quality of the vinyl. Josh was pleasant to speak with about albums, his selection was varied enough that fans of any kind of music could find something to bring home, and his pricing couldn't be beat for the quality of the albums he sells. On top of that, the time and effort he puts into curating his brand is admirable on its own. I will always be drawn to the seller who so enthusiastically cares for and works towards sharing the art and ritual of vinyl. Do yourself a favour and lock in some of the classic masterpieces he has to offer, in some of the best condition you can find.
