Homes by Avi made buying our first home a stress free experience. Almost too easy! From Kellen and Charlotte, to Kelly who helped us with our selections. Everyone was friendly and quick to answer any questions. They always kept us updated and walked us through our home during the process. Not to mention the quality of the work put into the house and the finishing work. We couldn't be any happier with the whole process!

Ashley Robinson of Homes by Avi helped us from start to finish when it came to building our home. We have been in our home for almost four years. The whole process of planning to construction was very easy, and Ashley kept us informed the whole way through. When it came time to take possession, Ashley walked us through the house, we were given very detailed instructions on all the necessary upkeep, and move in was very easy. She even organized a neighbourhood block party for all the neighbours to get to know each other (where my daughter ended up meeting a close friend of hers and they now go to the same school).Two experiences come to mind that were not a 5 out of 5 experience. First, when it came time to build the garage, that went smoothly except when they lay down the concrete blocks that led from our deck to the garage door. There was a huge incline that would have been very unsafe to walk on, and it was only at the urging and request of myself and next door neighbours that Homes By Avi put in wooden steps. Second, our air conditioning unit - in other houses, it was attached to the side but since we were a middle unit, this was not taken into consideration and was just placed on our deck which took up a lot of space. It took almost two years for them to fix - they had to put down a concrete pad (took two tries because the first one was not suitable) and had to unplug the whole air conditioning unit while waiting for this install. It took way too long to find a solution for where to place our air conditioning unit when it should have been something that was dealt with before moving in.Otherwise, Ashley Robinson was so amazing to deal with and she made moving into our first home a wonderful experience. Attended a showhome at one of their events and I will say that their employees are super respectful, helpful and overall kind people. There were nice complemtary gifts for all guests as well has informed workers who seemed genuinely interested in helping us out. As for the homes, the interior design served it's purpose in helping homeowners envision their use of the space. Overall, very innovative ideas implemented in the design of the homes they offer and would not hesitate to reccomended to anyone seeking to buy a home, or at the very least get a feel as to what they are looking for in a home.

Homes by AVI is by far the best buildery wife and I have ever worked with. We built our second home with homes by AVI and they were nothing short from professional and kindThey ensured we were up to date with every specific detail about our home. They weren't pushy either like other builders. I can say that from our past experience with another builder, homes by AVI went above and beyond for us .I would highly recommend homes by AVI to be your next preferred builder. They have so many options and new locations available with good incentives and pricing .Thank you homes by AVI with our new forever home :)

This is our 3rd home built by Homes by Avi. Since we had positive previous experiences, we decided to go with them to build our forever home. Ashley Robinson, our sales manager, went above and beyond for us and was attentive to our specifications and requests. We customized our floor plan and interior finishes. Our home is beautiful, well built, and we love it! We highly recommend Homes by Avi.

Do not, I repeat do not purchase a built home through homes by Avi. Bought the home back in 2019, everything was good up until the 2 year mark.First instance: massive leak from the upstairs which affected the downstairs ceiling and light fixture leaving a yellow tinge across the ceiling (covered by warranty, thankfully).Second instance: plumbing leak from upstairs main bathroom which caused it to pool and drip onto the main floor living space.Third instance: massive leak below the kitchen causing a great deal of water damage to the kitchen and kitchen island. (Covered by warranty and was fixed…so I thought).Fourth instance: the sink in the kitchen island has started to leak again…causing cracking and the structure underneath the kitchen sink to lift.Unresponsive staff, multiple run arounds and no after care for new home buyers.Again save your money and don’t purchase a home through Avi. Low quality builds and trades.

My wife and I had a great experience with Homes By Avi. We purchased a spec home in June 2021 and after living in our home for over 9 months, we're very grateful that there have been minimal issues; certainly none worth mentioning for this review. Homes by Avi is a builder I would recommend to anyone.We bought our spec home just after the foundation was poured, and so we had some input in interior design choices and they were flexible with some minor changes we wanted in the floor plan. We also got to choose our appliances through Trail and our experience with them was great as we got what we wanted for appliances. We were happy that on possession day, there weren't many items left unfinished; the biggest one for us was a kitchen drawer that was on backorder for a few weeks. One item that we were certainly pleased that it was completed for possession day was the pouring of concrete for our driveway. Obviously it's a real possibility that homeowners will take possession of their new build without a driveway, largely due to weather. But I did appreciate that Homes By Avi was able to complete this for us. As mentioned above, it's been over 9 months and everything about our home is in good working order - no issues to report structurally, no cracks in the basement floor, no cracks in any window, no leaks, all systems seem to be working. Generally speaking, I now consider a Homes By Avi home built very solidly. We are obviously grateful for this and hope that we are fortunate enough to not have to deal with anything major in the near or long term future.Our sales rep was Ashli Wright and she's really great to work with. Homes By Avi are lucky to have a sales rep like her. Our site supervisor (Jason) was very pleasant to deal with, while also providing very helpful tips and answering our questions. After we took possession, our customer rep Nicole has been very responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns we did raise. I always appreciated the prompt responses.Overall, I would recommend Homes By Avi to anyone looking to buy a spec home, or even a presale. The company has been around for a long time, and likely much longer than most of the other builders. Unless you're in the market for a specific design or there's a floorplan/design you really like that's offered by another builder, you should consider Homes By Avi. They likely will have a floor plan/design that will meet your needs, plus you will get a home built with quality.

I am disappointed at the low quality materials they use in their spec homes. The white counter top stains within weeks of moving in and they refused to do anything about it said it's cosmetic issues.Vinyl flooring dented within the week of moving in. I never had this issues with my previous builder.It's been challenging getting support from Home by AVI to address issues. They always sewm to have a reason why they they can not address issues.

We can't speak highly enough of our experience with Homes by Avi. We are fortunate in getting connected with Nancy and her team from The Orchards. Her team went above and beyond to ensure that the transaction for buying our first home in Edmonton is as smooth as possible since everything has to be done via email and zoom. They were all very responsive to our needs and was always available when we needed to be. Not to forget Kelly from the design team, she was amazing. She helped us through the process and made the whole selection process smooth and fun.We’ve dealt with other builders before but Homes by Avi is by far the most organized and amazing builder. We highly recommend it to anyone!
