The Dive Shop

This weekend I took the Padi basic free diver course, I found it extremely worthwhile and informative. I would highly recommend this course to anyone whether or not you are a scuba diver. thank you again Teighan and Sabrina for the great course you guys put on.

Promised tank servicing for 2 years and 3 free fills on the 2 tanks I purchased. When I went back and got the girl to look into the notes on my file it all lined up with my expectations- but when I went in to pick up the tanks there was a large charge and the computer note was mysteriously gone. Such a petty thing to lose a long time customer.

Tiegan's free diving course is amazing and the ONLY ONE available in Alberta to get certified through PADI. She is very professional, knowledgeable but keeps the class fun and up beat. You couldn't ask for a better instructor!

I took a scuba refresher course on Feb 28, 2023, and my instructor Darby was just amazing! I was a bit nervous as I haven't done this since before Covid, so it was a great experience. Thank you!

Wanted to replace the o rings in our Geo 2 dive computers. Were told by the manufacturer that the Dive Shop was a supplier of their products. Called the shop and was told they should have them. Live in NW Cal, went to the shop last Sat, assisted by Brad, he found a couple of o rings. Went home, o rings did not fit. Went back to the shop again this Sat, they could not find any o rings that fit. No apologies offered. No thanks for trying to do business with them. Will likely not access scuba dive support from them again.

Absolutely fantastic, I did the intro to free diving with Teighan Wilkes as the teacher and she did such a fantastic job, I felt comfortable and she was patient as we all learned, it was really cool to see her excitement she put into the class and the sport!

Recently took the Beginners Freediving course , at the Dive shop, hosted By Teighan, and her assistant Sabrina. If you are interested, curious, passionate, or whatever , for Freediving, do this course. Who would have figured that we would have training available here in good ol’ Alberta, but it’s here finally. So much diving available in our back yard, or combine this all when you go to tropical waters.The course was well balanced with class and pool time. All of us had a great blend of safety, safety, and safety , along with practising what we learned. It’s so gratifying to have a class full of students, nervous as hell, cause we have never held our breath for 2 minutes, and it’s a blast witnessing each and everyone of us , learning safely how to do this…under water !! Do this course, don’t learn on your own. Get proper training, as this course provides, thanks to Tieghan, and enter a world filled with endless possibilities and adventure. In a world where good customer service is hard to come by, the Dive Shop is simply amazing. Brad helped us with all our gear purchases over many visits and is a wealth of knowledge. Can’t wait to take my rescue diver course next month!

We had a great experience with the Dive Shop! My husband and I did the first part of our PADI dive certification (in class room and in pool) with French Jeff. He was a great instructor, with a wonderful sense of humour. We had a great time in the class and in the pool. The Dive Shop really feels like a family, and you know that they'll do everything they can to help you have a great experience - with them, and wherever you are going to do your scuba. It was great to have the pool right there, so it was easy to have the combination of class room and pool time. All of the staff we encountered were very knowledgeable and helpful. They were great to also talk to for helping plan our upcoming trip! We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend them!
