Yaletown Accounting assisted with obtaining my US tax refund. The whole process was handled efficiently and without any problems encountered. I was expecting that once the paperwork was provided to me that I would be on my own for follow up with the US tax department, and I was pleasantly surprised that Fatima and all staff members kept me updated with the progress of the return, right from obtaining the ITIN to filing the return and finally the date that my refund was mailed from the US. I highly recommend Fatima and Yaletown for their professionalism and efficiency for these types of transactions.

Awful service, not sure how everyone has been giving them astounding reviews. We contacted them and submitted a new client form online in March and didn’t hear back for a long time. Husband had to constantly email them to follow up because no one answers the calls to their office. It took 2-3 follow up emails before hearing from Fatima. All documents were provided, and again had to personally follow up to ask if any additional information is required because we haven’t heard back yet again. They provided my tax return information/calculations to my husband’s email, not to me even though we sent in our own individual forms and correspondences separately. I didn’t even know the amount I would have to pay for exceeding my annual amount if my husband didn’t tell me because that information was only sent to him, and mine only told me I would get X amount tax returned. Found out today they had only submitted my taxes but didn’t submit my husband’s which now we have to call CRA to sort out. First and last time using their services. BEWARE!!!

Yaletown Accounting is phenomenal! Fatima and her team provide great customer service, prompt responses to questions and are reasonably priced for filing taxes. Highly recommended! Even unique employment/earning situations (self-employed, US income) or requests to file after the recommended April 30 deadline are handled seamlessly.
