Poirier Community Centre

Nice play area for young kids. Community center is small but good for classes

I love making use of the swimming pool and other activities here, like yoga and the gym. I also like the food in the cafeteria, and I enjoy attending my home group AA meeting weekly, at this location, as well!

This is actually a review of the little tot lot next to the community centre. This is the best playground for little ones! The signage says for ages 2-5. My almost 1 year old had a great time today. The two structures are very much earlier walker friendly. There are also a few things to keep older siblings (3-5) entertained - music equipment, a spinner and an ant hill" you can put hot wheels cars through."

Nice little community centre with a very homey feel to it. They have a lot of classes for kids ranging from cooking and music to martial arts. There's free parking, a waiting area inside with tables, and a music themed playground for the little ones beside it. We love bringing our kids there. We also had our kid's birthday party there, and it is perfect for younger children, as the centre has a lot of fun gymnastics equipment for the kids to play (including slides, ball pit, and a small trampoline). Ideal option for winter babies, when you can't just make a birthday party outside at a park :)

The best rink around by far and the rink itself gets 5 stars!! Love the place, but the little kiosk....the food quality has seriously nose dived over the last 2 months. Had the yam fries two weeks ago and the fries was hard and over oily. Had the chicken quesadilla last night and the chicken was burned. It was also too oily and had no seasoning.

We are going almost everyday mon to Thursday to porier community centre . We was happy with all service thdy provided. But today i had ver bad experience. After class when we reach home my younger daughter realise we forgot her favourite toy ( fingerling monkey) so she was crying . So i went back to found that i checked toy box , check loat and found didn't find anywhere so when i asked group of girls they was from life saving support trainees they had that toy when i asked them ahe was laughing on me and when i left and closed door they laugh so loudly i can heared them outside . But i was in hurry to give that toy to my 2 years old daughter. So that very rud behaviour laughing like that on worried mom . I didn't had time to do complain in person front of them . But this is not acceptable at all. Life saving support staff ia very rude and didn't have manners to behave.

Hello. There is have to Sauna and swimming pool are old but clean. There are two sauna facilities, and the swimming pool is nice because there are children's pools and families can be together. I can eat food and the staff is kind. I will revisit and feel comfortable.

Great sauna, steam room and pool. So glad I only live a few blocks away

A lot of family friendly activities like on family day they have free admission gymnastics and face painting and crafts for different ages.

Poirier Community Centre is a staple in the Coquitlam community. The gardens and covered walkways are fantastic for a relaxing walk with a small child or your dog. The city has done a fabulous job with the flowers and gardens that lead you to the rose garden next door. This is definitely a great place to hang out and wait for your child if they are in hockey, swimming or other sport across the street.
