Waterloo Central Railway

If i knew how slow and boring this ride was I wouldn’t have paid for it. The train is very slow 10 miles/hour , people on the train fell a sleep half way throughNot recommend especially if you have kids they will hate it

The new Railway Hopper ticket is great, a day pass that lets you get on/off at any stop you'd like. Made for a really nice little day trip.

Not worth the money!!Slow and boring and you see more trees at the park near your home than during the ride!!

The cost was too much for the experience. You can go to Ripley's aquarium for 45 dollars (12 dollars more) where you can feel effort has been put in to make the experience fun. The train goes 12km/h, and goes out to Elmira and back. The only note worthy sight is a river and a maintenance yard. For 32 dollars, this felt like a scam. We also brought our kids, and while they thought seeing it arrive was exciting, being inside the cab was boring for them too. They also wanted to leave by the end of it. The staff were kind but thats the only positive I can think of.

Loving the train ride...lots of history associated with this railway...
