Really, really great food. My partner and I had the chicken karaage and I had the bulgogi short rib and he had the chicken sandwich with the parmesan fries. Our server was very friendly. Love that they have an iPad with a visual menu, makes choosing the food easier and more fun. Drinks were good. My friend's had the chicken crisps, the Bao that was on special, the burger and the small ramen bowl and raved about how food their food was. Was pleasantly surprised there were so many gluten free options. Will DEFINITELY be back.

Great little hidden gem in Halifax! Any of the boa buns are a great choice & they go the extra mile when plating the food to make it look super cool! Lots of cool cocktails too!This is a great spot to try something new! They have an interactive menu that shows pictures of everything as well so that helps a lot when venturing away from your normal order.The staff is always so great!

Good Asian fusion options. Was very cool to see that they provide an iPad at your table to show you pictures of all the dishes - absolutely helps with decision making. First time I’ve ever seen that. I’d recommend the bao buns as an appetizer. The tofu bao had good flavour and was not dry. We also enjoyed the chicken crisp and the studio dumplings for apps. My partner had the chicken rice bowl - this was a miss for us. It was very saucy almost too the point of soupy and we found the different sauces they used did not really compliment each other.I had the kung pao cauliflower bowl which was great - I opted for the noodles. The only suggestion is I wish it had more vegetables because it’s quite carb heavy with the noodles and the cauliflower being fried.Overall - I would visit again, they seem to change the menu quite often which is great.

Studio East is turning out food that will make you drool. I recommend the Crispy Chicken skins for sure.. Their Bao buns are better than any I've ever tried, I also highly recommend the Potato dumplings..This is our go to night out restaurant and I've eaten everything on the menu with hesitation.signed Chef Oja

Ok, this place is killer. It's a must go when in Halifax! Bao is delicious, ramen, off the charts. Their drinks are fantastic! 10/10. The staff are a bunch of gems too! Go here!!!

Not a single dish disappointed! We had the potato dumplings (make sure to ask for the story behind the dish), and the spicy tofu, crispy chicken, pork belly and peruvian bao with some very fancy and delicious cocktails, all finished with a mango creme brûlée. If you like asian fusion make sure to check this place out.

Have been here a few times. Great date night spot or meet up with friends. Had General Tso Chicken burger and the Ultimate Ramen this time. Food awesome as always, service was attentive but not hovering. Will be back when the patio opens!

It’s been a min since last dining Studio East and that’s my error. This place has a vibe. Wednesday night and the place was packed with a vibrant crowd. Staff and service was excellent.You can tell when the owners out their own personal touches in the food. Everything was homemade and fresh. The menu has some creative elements but always some standard loves such as the Pork Ramen. The drinks were a surprise hit. Cannot wait to find the next opportunity to go back.
