I had so many pleasant experiences at the Jo Malone Richmond center boutique since they opened last year. The sale associate Cindy always listens to your preferences and needs. She genuinely helps you to choose the right scent and never pushes you to buy anything. Cindy is as perfect as a sales associate can be. The store itself is well organized; the colognes, perfumes, diffusers were all neatly displayed. If you enjoy having wonderful scents on yourself or at home, then go to Jo Malone Richmond center store and ask for Cindy. You won’t be disappointed.

I was in the area I thought I'd stop by and eventually walked into JM to check out what they had. I think it's fair that if a store had at least five different *types* of candles, all of which aren't explicitly labeled to differentiate one from the other, that you'd ask someone in the store for a clarification. I asked one of the associates to show me which is which, and after realizing she herself didn't know the answers to a few of the questions and getting annoyed, instead of asking another associate for clarification she angrily says what is it that you want?!" Disappointing service. Much rather get JM from another location than this one where the associates are at the very least NICE."

I had a wonderful experience with Jo Malone London for the first time! As i walked in to the store, Cindy was the person who recognized us and welcoming us right away, let us try things. She recommended me to try out their body lotion and i loved it!!! She has great customer service skills, knowledge towards to products. definitely going back whenever need new ones!! Thanks Cindy!

Cindy is an exceptional employee who truly goes above and beyond to provide the best customer service experience possible. From the moment I walked into the store, Cindy greeted me with a warm smile and immediately made me feel welcome. She took the time to listen to my needs and preferences, and was able to recommend the perfect products for me. She even allowed me to sample a new limited release product before it dropped because I was from out of town.What sets Cindy apart is her extensive knowledge of the Jo Malone brand and her genuine passion for the products. She was able to provide detailed information about each product, including the ingredients, scent profiles, and benefits, which allowed me to make an informed decision about my purchase. Today Jan 19th I went to Jo Malone (Richmond Center). I’ve been wearing perfume of this brand for a long time, but it was the first time I shop at this store and was looking for a gift for a very dear friend. Ms. Qian made this purchase experience very delightful. She is knowledgeable, calm and extremely helpful when it come to choosing the right present which is usually not very easy for me.Great customer experience!Thank You Qian ( Melody)Mozhan Afarani

First of all, this location ALWAYS had piles of shipping boxes in the store visible to everyone walking in the mall. Luxury much?There was no greeting at all from the staff and everyone was occupied so I lined up and waited at the cash register. When it was my turn, one of the associates who looked like she was the manager IGNORED me when I was next in line and proceeded to go to another lady not in line and started chatting and helping her in Chinese. I chose to overlook it and waited longer until I was assisted by another associate. This same manager then wanted me to move to the other end of the counter (even though I was there first) so she can help the “friend” she was skipping me to help in the first place. While the seasonal associate was wrapping the purchase for me, the manager continued being rudely directive to her own seasonal associate in Chinese and said “you’re not supposed to use red ribbon to wrap this gift because we are saving them for Chinese New Year”. This is extremely disappointing to hear in Vancouver and in NORTH AMERICA. People including myself are purchasing gifts to celebrate the holiday season THIS MONTH and one of your managers is depriving people of what they are supposed to get for Chinese New Year that’s not even until next year? Since when do customers have to beg to have a festive ribbon when making hundreds of dollars of purchase? This experience concluded with the associate asking me if I’d like a fabric pouch or a paper bag. Please note - I am purchasing two items and when I asked for another bag and even when I offered to PAY for the extra bag, they rejected me and said they don’t have enough bags. Excuse me again, but that is the store’s own problem not something at the expense of the customers.I left the store ANGRY, very angry. I felt discriminated against because I didn’t speak Chinese in the first place and I felt spoken and treated rudely by the manager because I didn’t spend enough while she treated this VIP of hers with all smiles. She also had the same foul attitude towards her staff thinking she gets to call everything, including not giving customer buying Christmas gifts red ribbons in order to have them for Chinese New Year. There was not a word or the littlest desire to apologize because I waited to be helped while someone cut in front of me nor when I was misled by false information given by the seasonal associate but still purchased everything. I also feel sad and disappointed in the brand. Jo Malone is a luxury brand but this store and this experience are nothing close to luxury or not even what the lowest standard of fragrance retail is nowadays.

This is the cutest store with amazing aromas in perfumes, candles and bathroom products. The sales women were welcoming and friendly and the samples to smell were well laid out. It’s a must stop for a relaxing treat for your senses!

It was my first time shopping at Jo Malone after hearing good things about this brand. Cindy was the first welcome me into the store and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. She has a lot of product knowledge and has a lot of experience, so she knows what other customers like and was able to help me decide on something as a gift for someone. Her customer service is impeccable! I normally do not write reviews, but I want others to know that if they're needing assistance with choosing a product at Jo Malone.. please find Cindy! She is super sweet and helpful. She doesn't pressure you into buying things either, she is just all help and care. :) Super appreciated! 100%

Friendly staff! Their scents are so nice and refreshing. If you don’t usually use perfume or cologne, then this place is a great start as none of the scents are overpowering. Do keep in mind that they sell eau de cologne, which is much weaker than eau de parfum. Reapplication is usually needed, but when applied it doesn’t smell too strong.
