The only reason why I was considering giving a lower rating is the in my mind a bit limited bike and accessory selection. But that minor point is not that relevant considering the very good service you receive. Repairs done when promised (as per my colleagues) and helpful on the spot. More importantly for a junky like me: I got a free coffee while waiting for then derailer to be fixed.☕️

Brought in my bike for service on two occasions. The mech did not reassemble my headset spacers correctly on the first instance. The spacers were in the wrong order, which cause lasting back/shoulder pain and , further, there appeared to be a missing spacer, leaving dangerous play in the headset. On a separate occasion, I was informed that a part had damaged threads. When I informed them that they had been the ones that performed the initial install, the mechanic managed to force the part in, and brushed the whole incident off saying it was fine.

Just recently discovered, Davelo (formerly Cycles Néron), was suggested to me by other cyclists. Great team of specialists for bicycles, eBikes, and all the way up to personalized performance tuning. Worth going out of your way to visit. My new favorite bike shop

I have been going to this bike store for years before the rebranding from cycle neron to davelo - same great service, keeping things affordable through dilegent repairs rather that replacing expensive parts. I got a decent bike tehre at teh hight of the bike shortage in 2021, and this year i got a bike form them for my 4 year old daughter. Thier accesories are on the pricy side for my tastes, but I do not doubt their quality.

Walked in to fix my kid’s bike rear derailer and Oliver was quick to act and fixed the bike on spot. I thought it was affordable too.

Went in to buy a smart trainer to help keep active during the winter and the staff couldn't have been more amazing. They answered all the questions I had, set up the trainer and even offered to deliver it the same day.Best of all, they were super friendly and down to earth! Cycle Neron is definitely where I'll go in the future for new parts and service for my bike.

After receiving sub-par service at another montreal bike shop, I ventured in to Davelo on a quest to find a trainer for the winter. I received excellent service from the Davelo team and owner, David. David provided insightful knowledge and made sure his staff took good care of me.Fast forward a few months and it was time for new cycling shoes. Phil patiently spent time with me to pick out the perfect shoe and discuss the ins and outs of tire sizes and pressures. Once equipped with new shoes, it was time for an update to my bike fit. Queue Geoff, bike fitter extraordinaire! Geoff’s attention to detail and wealth of experience helped fit my bike perfectly. He was attentive to my feedback and I’ve never felt so good on bike. I would highly recommend anyone needing a bike fit to seek Geoff’s services, he is #1.Bottom line, my experiences at Davelo are well deserving of 5-stars. They have gone above and beyond to earn my business and a fantastic reputation.*Edit: post has been updated to reflect the new name of the store. Same owner and staff.

After trying 4 different bike shops to do a simple shifter replacement for my E-bike; I finally ended up at the Cycle Neron. As soon as I entered, a repair person named Oliver took care of me. Even though the shop was busy, he immediately identified the issue and said he can quickly fix it on the spot, this was after I was quoted 2-3 weeks and multiple hours of labor at other places. Oliver managed to change the shifter and also fix the bent derailleur all within 15 min and the cost was very reasonable. Overall, I got an amazing service and I highly recommend the great people over at cycle Neron.
