What a bunch of greedy scammers.I had my cylinder plated with them. Before I sent my cylinder off, I got a price quote. 189.00 with free shipping. With the holidays, It took them about a week longer than they anticipated. This is fairly understandable, right? When I got my price quote, before I gave them my credit card number, my total, according to them, came out to be 204.00 including shipping and taxes. So I gave them my credit card number, and then recorded it in my ledger book. When I got the bill, It came out to 359.00. They explained it as a 60.00 Insurance fee. I sent the same part to them by UPS and was charged 12.00 for insurance. US chrome is dishonest. I give them a lump of coal for this one. I hope they loose a lot of business. Who wants to do business with liars?

FIY they don't take walkins to get cylinder work done. Have to go through a small engine dealer.

So far 6000 miles and no problems. Very happy with the results. Update: bike has now done 30,000 miles and still runs perfect. My son owns it now and thrashes it mercilessly.

The cylinder is top notch quality! customer service not so much. Paid to have studs removed which were stripped out and returned? I also had to contact them to check when it would be done. They took about what they said.. 2 weeks.

I contacted Scott about a Polaris Dragon 800 with a blown top end. Scott was very knowledgeable and helpful, we discussed different options and decided on the best way to proceed. I was able to get everything I needed from US Chrome at a great price. The sled now runs perfectly and I have no concerns about the durability of this motor. I will only use US Chrome for my cylinder needs, I’ve done 3 top ends with their help and have never has any issues. I highly recommend US Chrome, you just can’t get better service and quality anywhere. No doubt the best in the business!

I really wanted to like this company but this is the 4th time I have sent cylinders for an 09 ski doo 800r back to them because the ones they keep sending me are not useable. The first ones I got had a bolt broken off in the intake part of the head so I sent them back for a replacement. The second set they sent me had a crack in the exhaust port on one side that went all the way to the edge of the cylinder wall, I did not want to run those because I was worried after some heat cycles the crack would open up. I called scott the manager and he was great to deal with and sent me out a replacement pair right away. After getting the replacement, the third set I recieved, I noticed that there was casting material in the bolt holes for the head. Unfortunately I had started 2 bolts at that time and when I backed them out they moved about 1/4 inch then the threads locked up with the casting material. So I called and got Scott's wife Ginger on the phone who was also fantastic to talk too. She had me send them in to remove the bolt and repair all the threads. So tonight I just got a pair of cylinders back from them and they are not the ones I sent out to have the bolt removed. They are the pair that has a crack in the exhaust port that I already returned to them once. It doesnt look like I will be getting a quality pair of cylinders from them so I guess I'm just going to hope I can get some miles out of the cracked pair before winter is over. I have been dealing with them for over 2 months and still dont have a good pair of cylinders so I'm giving up and I'll try someone else next time.

Scott the owner hooked me up with redoing a cylinder and power valve on a 1998 yz250 a couple years ago. This was my first top end and they helped me be successful, did an awesome job, and bike has been a blast ever since. Highly recommend. Customer service was great and answered all my questions.

I had read reviews that showed they do quality work. This I cannot comment on. However the customer service is lack luster at best. I called in January to confirm that a 659cc raptor cylinder could be bored and honed to 686cc (100mm to 102mm bore). The price was more than fair and lead time was quoted at 6 weeks, so I filled out the order form and sent my cylinder and piston in for the work. The parts arrived first week of February. I spent the time and effort to instapak my parts to ensure they wouldn’t be damaged in shipping and assumed it would be returned in the same order. After 6 weeks went by I called for an update. Covid was blamed for the delay (its 2021 this isn’t a valid excuse anymore, you should be adjusting your quotes accordingly like every other machine shop). In addition there were questions about the work I wanted done despite the form being filled out. Here is my first problem, I should have been contacted if you had questions. I shouldn’t have had to call you. I was assured my parts would be started that week. 2 weeks went by and no contact. I followed up for a 2nd time. This time I am told they still don’t know what I wanted done. Again I tell them the +2mm bore and hone per CP spec sheet in the box. 2 more weeks go by, I call back as I have had zero contact. I am told that they couldn’t do the work because my piston didn’t come with the cylinder. (You lost my piston???) Ginger was able to locate this after I assured her it had arrived. I was again told this week my work would be done. 2 weeks go by and Friday at 4:55 cst I get a voicemail from Ginger telling me they can’t do the job because their machines been broke. She suggests I send my work to a shop they use for jobs they can’t handle. I have to wait until Tuesday of the following week to get in touch as she called me at closing of their business on a Friday and they are closed Monday’s. I ask for a phone number of this shop as I couldn’t find it via google. She told me to google it. I asked if they would be pushing to have this rushed by the shop as they have cost me 12 weeks now and we are in riding season even though I was told 6. I was told I would have to talk with the shop for scheduling (Ie you’re on your own). This is unacceptable. I then ask to have my parts shipped back. I am asked for my credit card to pay for return shipping. This is again unacceptable and unethical. I paid 50$ and sent a repair order in for a service to be performed. A contract has been entered. No service was performed per the agreement and now I am going to be out 100$ for shipping for a job that wasn’t done. Ginger reluctantly agreed to cover shipping back. My parts arrived in a paper thin cardboard box with inadequate protection, not in the box I sent it in with instapak. Thankfully nothing was damaged. As a business you should strive to keep your customers informed. You should have inventory management that prevents you from misplacing two parts of the same work order. If your machine breaks it is understandable, these things happen but contact your customer to ask if they would like there parts returned or would prefer to wait if the machine can be fixed in a reasonable time frame. Lastly, if you are going to refer a shop you should have their contact info and if you can’t complete a job and refer a shop I as a customer would expect you would attempt to make this situation right rather than hang me out to dry.On a positive note Ginger was always friendly over the phone, in the future more up front notice would be extremely appreciated.
