Not that good. I enjoy the teachers, very nice and understanding. Though its not completely gifted some grades are learning public school material for that grade. The module is kind of bad but they are making improvements. They are going to renovate soon. They now increase the tuition by 1,500 every year now instead of by 500. The homework is challenging which is good and the teachers help you if you have any problems. But one bad thing is they were going to decide to remove high school which was concerning and after a bunch of parents got angry, they implemented high school back. Overall, this school is decent.

Very good school. The kids are nice and the teachers are nice. The tuition fee is also very worth it. Much better than all the public schools (Including the gifted programs). One of the best schools in the area.

A good school with great kids and many good teachers, run by a poor admin team. Note this review is dated by a few years and the situation may well be different, but the way they acted especially towards the end of my time here was awful, especially towards my family and my parents. The positive and negative reviews on here are both true from my experience from Grades 2 through 8 at PACE.I don’t regret attending this school. The knowledge they imparted carried me forward in my academics well beyond what is possible in a public program and I credit PACE for why I’m at where I am today. If I could go back and do it again, despite the admin, I would.I guess at the end of the day it’s a choice made by the parents to endure the few downfalls of a school like this in return for their child’s success. Years after leaving PACE I am still at the top of my class (update: in University) with a perfect GPA.Ms. Stuart’s Grade 8 English taught me everything I need (and more) to finish Grade 12 in the public school system at the very top of my class. I left after Grade 8. Nothing from grade 9-12 and including 12 in public high school taught me a single thing that PACE hadn’t already, especially for English.Biggest problem with this school is social skills. I cannot stress enough that if you want your kid to grow up with normal social skills, you need to look outside of pace. I’m talking sports teams (hockey, soccer, whatever), friend groups, clubs… really anything you can do to let them have a childhood.PACE has been the most stressful but rewarding part of my life so far. If it weren’t for the borderline-psychopathic admin, perhaps I’d give this more than 3 stars. I want to be fair, even if they weren’t fair to my family.Attend at your own risk.

The school is amazing. The staff is educated, caring, and dedicated to ensuring the child's success. The new renovations are the best I've seen. The education is a higher level, with thorough material and opportunities for creativity and innovation. There are many extra curriculars to add on to the education such as taekwondo, art, VEX IQ and EDR robotics programs, DECA, model UN, and Reach for the top. The director speaks personally to the students on how to achieve their goals. Overall, a highly recommended school!

This is a great school! For those posting negative reviews, I'm sorry about your experience, but I have been at P.A.C.E for 3 years and I have loved it here. There's some drama, but other than that, it is truly a great school. Ms. Gruchy, the principal, welcomed me to the school with open arms. The administration team has always been there to support me and everyone else.

I went to this school for 8 years and barely survived. No matter what the teachers or graduates tell you, this school is bad. The people who went here who say it was good just want justify wasting 12 years of their life. This school robs you of proper social skills, a proper education, and most importantly $11,000 dollars every year. The facilities at this school are extremely sub-par, with the entire school containing almost 300 kids being less than half the size of an average elementary school. Many of the teachers are okay and some are even great, but some of them are quite bad and clearly unfit to teach at school, especially a school full of gifted" children. The small classroom sizes (20-40 people per grade) may seem like a benefit

My Grade 4 son transferred to PACE after several lackluster years at Maurice Cody P.S. He went into the school an extremely intelligent disorganized hot mess who would melt down at the tip of a hat. He was at best a mix of Cs and maybe a B if he was lucky. Year after year teachers would tell us that he is fine and then when the report came it was anything but. After one very challenging almost year at PACE (Covid), he has modest organizational skills. The rigours of the school have tempered him and he rarely gets pushed off kilter. His math skills went from a sub par level to one year ahead of TDSB curriculum. He writes essays and poetry years ahead of his old peers. This school is incredible. It is also very rigorous and please note your child will probably need a modest time commitment from the parents to help with homework. Mr. Rovet queries us daily about my sons experience. He keeps us in the loop about all assignments and homework daily to keep Micah on track. I wish that the teachers he had in the public system displayed this level of care and attention. They talk about more resources and what have you, but the fact of the matter is that Mr. Rovet is just a cut above the rest. During Covid my son is in class at least 3 to 4 hours daily. The difference between the systems becomes far more evident now.I would have kept him in this school indefinitely had it not been for the bus ride. He was the farthest distanced home to school. The commute from Bayview and Moore at 7:10am to school was an hour each way. He would get home around 6pm. I considered selling my home and moving closer to continue him there.Bravo!

I don’t know why this school gets so many negative reviews. I love this. Wish I didn’t have to go. Teachers know what they’re doing, good material, older grades have some really good education, a lot of fun interactive projects, only suggestion is that you guys make the module in the main building as it is very small in there and it kinda smells bad sometimes but nothing big, just a suggestion.

Great school! My son has been going there for 5 years and they have been just amazing. I would recommend it to anyone with a gifted child.
