Pharmacy is open late which works for my schedule. Very professional and friendly service at the pharmacy. The rest of the staff are also very friendly and professional. Always a hello when you walk in the door.

To make a long story short. I saw a specialist 3 years ago.And this specialist wants me to take an un tested . un approved drug. My doctor who knows me said i should not take it. So my doctor sent in my perception. The pharmacy said they can only give me the un approved drug. I will never use shopers again. Up date.After i did this review. Shopers said they would give me the drugs. My doctor wanted me to take. I have now moved to a new pharmacy. The strange thing is. The new pharmacy is so much better. In and out fast.Ps shoppers 1800. I am not phoning you.I have wasted enough time with shoppers.Read all the reviews. Maybe you can work out the problems your self. Mybe start by teaching your staff. That they are there for us. We are not there for them........

2 days in a row we were called to say our meds were ready (standard refills). 2 days in a row we have been forced to wait longer than 20 mins when we gave up and left because priority is going to COVID shots. Apparently everyone else’s life saving medications are not important.

During a very busy time during COVID 19 the staff has always been polite and professional. For the past 2 and a half months I have been going in once per week to get COVID 19 Rapid Antigen testing and Mo was very kind and patient. Much appreciated. Thank you.

This location needs some serious help when it comes to administering the suboxone program. I have been on suboxone for more than 5 years. Any pharmacist administering this medication should be aware that patients who are receiving carries have earned those carries - they have take home doses because they have been clean and sober for extended periods and are trusted to take their medication WITHOUT supervision. I receive my doses every two weeks, since transferring my prescription to the Strathmore Shoppers location, my refill has never been ready to pick up, and I have met pharmacists who weren’t even aware that I had to sign paperwork every time. Today, after waiting 20 minutes for my medication, the pharmacist insisted that I remain in store and wait for the pill to dissolve.. I haven’t had to prove to a pharmacist that the dose has dissolved completely since I earned the right to bring home carries. I told the pharmacist I’ve been taking this medication for years, and he said “let’s keep it going then”. Excuse me, but you administering my medication and watching me take it once every 14 days does not make or break my sobriety. I am in recovery because of the work I have done, and I wouldn’t have a prescription with 14 carries if my DOCTOR didn’t trust me with my medication. When I left, the pharmacist yelled across the store for every other patron to hear that he would be reporting this to my doctor. What happened to patient confidentiality? Why do you think you have the right to breach patient confidentiality simply because of the type of medication I am receiving? Are you under the impression that people in recovery have less rights than your other patients?I haven’t been treated like this since my first few days in the suboxone program. I’ve already spoken to my doctor and we will be moving my prescription to another pharmacy.

I’ve been going to Shoppers Pharmacy in Strathmore for years. I’ve always had great customer service (friendly, or apologizing if they were really busy and I had to wait) and never had any mistakes. I was readily helped out a couple of times when I was late calling in for a refill.The Pharmacy has called me a few times over the years to confirm or clarify prescriptions. The Pharmacists have always been helpful whenever I needed extra information on product. I have no complaints whatsoever!

This location has a perscribing pharmacist which is great as even with the current 2022 Tylenol shortage they are able to make custom acetaminophen when necessary.

Below zero stars if I could. It’s one thing that I came from another pharmacy where my prescriptions were covered 100% and here there was a substantial remaining balance for the exact same prescriptions. But…while standing there with Rhonda trying to get sorted the pharmacist walks up and asks her why she’s helping me, “just charge her how it was ran through. You don’t need to help her. That isn’t your job.”Isn’t it tho?? Is that not your job as a pharmacy? Talk about appalling! And blatantly showing that your all about the money. Zero respect for this place and the pharmacist. Rhonda you were kind and caring and tried to help.

Living and travelling between provinces and navigating unique covid circumstances, I've found that this crew always goes above and beyond with professional and prompt service. The only pharmacy I'll ever use. Thank you!
