Trotec Laser

I have had Trotec lasers for four years. I own a 300 and two 400 Trotec Lasers I use the 400s for the bulk of the cutting that I do in my business. The 300 is a nice machine that I use for my custom work. The Job Control program makes the lasering process easy. The service is good but with any kind of service you have to wait; it is not instant, but they get you up and running pretty fast. It was definitely worth purchasing lasers; don’t under power yourself. Pay the extra money for a more powerful laser, and you will thank yourself in the end. ¬

Great machines and people, but only if you are able to pay cash. The leasing partner they chose specifies even if your income and credit are good, they need more information on what / how we want to use the machine,You go buy a car for 30grand and pay about the same interest

I bought Trotec after intensive market studies, I run a business I know buying good machine is not enough, customer service is very important to back up your machine.Mike Clark is amazing in customer service, he is always there when I need something, always responding e-mails at the same day.Miguel did excellent job in my training.Vickey at materials sales is very helpful.highly recommend Trotec.Faraj Razak

I've had my Trotec for over 5 years now and it's still running perfectly - incredible machine. Technical support is always super quick and helpful (Michael is the best!) and materials I've ordered always come very fast.

Purchased our Speedy 300 five years ago, and it's still working perfectly. The entire team at trotec is amazing, friendly, supportive and helpful. We regularly purchase materials and they always ship the same day, arrive quickly and are well packaged. Highly recommend trotec lasers!

I messaged TroTec regarding a serious inquiry about purchasing an 80 watt CO2 laser engraver. I had comparison questions between a TroTec machine and another brand that I had previously used. I received a generic reply stating that someone would call the following day between 10am and 2pm. If you expect me to buy a $30,000 machine, I would think that you would give the customer an opportunity to set up a time and method for communicating, not dictating a four hour window in which someone will call. I’m not getting my satellite serviced…I’m buying something that is the price of a car. I was not pleased with the lack of effort that was shown by TroTec and I sent a reply email advising that I don’t run on their schedule. I received a snarky reply indicating that I was more than welcome to by an inferior product:“Should you wish to buy an inferior laser system, we would implore you to do so, however we also look forward to hearing back from you when said laser system inevitably fails.”I guess I’ll never know if their lasers are superior…as I’m on my way to Epilog Laser.

I've had my Trotec for one year and I have yet been able to use it for my business. It seems like an amazing machine from the test cuts I've done and the bit of engraving I've done is perfect. My issue is with the service. I think the sales rep should be more helpful after he's made a sale. I cut stencils from mylar. It marks very easily. I asked James about a vacuum bed from the beginning, but he insisted that I did not need one. Well, I ended up getting one installed a month ago, so I hope it helps. I am a one woman show and I admit that I couldn't give it my all as far as making the laser cutter work for me because I can't close my shop for an extended time. I did eventually get a lot of help from a tech, Miguel, who was great to work with and that's when I decided to install the vac bed. Trish and Duncan in Langley are amazing to work with too. Hopefully I can make this work for my business. If not, I will have to sell it.

Have had our Trotec Speedy 100 now for over 3 years. We couldn't run our business without it. The speed, reliability, and quality is what sold us on the Trotec over other lasers. The staff have been super friendly and great to deal with and also help promote small businesses that use their systems which is a nice touch. Not had any support needs to date so can't speak to that side of things, knock on laser cut wood, our Speedy has been a solid steady performer. Looking to add another hopefully in the new year.
