Winchester DriveTest Centre

I went today in the center. The front desk lady Lilian was very rude and emotional.She had a look at my official drivers license along with drivers experience letter that was attested by ministry of Foreign Affairs and instantly replied that the documents are just a piece of paper and plastic and they couldn’t be accepted as they do not meet MTO standards. Not even submitted the attested document to her supervisor. I did not want to argue so I just left that instruction. Very unacceptable service and unprofessional staff member. Very rude and disrespectful.

This place is good for G2. Many complain about the office personnel but she was very polite and nice to talk with. The examiner also was very good and he was to the point testing all aspects.

Easy test and good examiner, provided very clear instructions and did not make me nervous.

Terrible attention from the woman at the reception, unprofessional, not friendly at all, not patient and unhelpful. Their workers should go through psychological tests before being found to morally harm one. I have to emphasize that my first language is SPANISH and I am new to the country~Canada. Today I had a terrible experience with the lady at the reception. When I arrived I saw two brothers studying to give their 2nd chance of the test for their G1. It was my turn to give my test. I walked away from the computer, walked towards the entrance and YELLED at me (because my mother in law heard too) saying You can't get your cell phone out at all!" and I said "OK" and saved it. From that moment her way of correcting me seemed very strange to me. Then

If you’re from the city (Ottawa) and can take the hour trip out here to do your road test, DO IT. Avoid Walkley at all cost, save yourself so much time and stress and just come here.Showed up early, saw maybe 5 people the whole time we were here compared to Walkley where there are literally 100’s of people at any given time.Test was quick and easy because of the quiet roads. I felt so much more at ease here because of the relaxed environment (I think my examiner felt the same) Didn’t feel rushed or nervous at all like at Walkley.. overall a MUCH better experience. Wish I just came here the first time.Definitely coming back for my G.

Very bad place very recess please any hijabe women or any other skin colour other than white don’t go there doesn’t matter how good you are you won’t pass any road test specially the women at the front desk very disrespectful the place would be better without here

Absolutely wonderful and accommodating. Great staff. Would definitely recommend to other drivers looking to either earn their license or regain it.

I have had great experiences here. Yes, I had to wait outside in line but those were the rules with COVID & the employees don't make them. It's a very small office & can only fit so many people for social distancing. People in the lineup were friendly & helpful. Lillian was knowledgeable, friendly and great with pictures. I saw her make a couple of teens feel at ease for their first test. She put a couple of chairs out for people. I recommend either calling or looking up info on the website to make sure you have what you need for documents! Be prepared for weather if you have to wait outside. Thank you.

Nice small town Ontario Service center. The examiner was very good. He was very much open to ask question if I had not understood. He is instruction given was very clear. My experience with the examiner was super friendly. Much recommended place for G2 road test in Ontario.

Who is the power tripping woman who tried to take 20 mins from my daughter’s test because her lunch starts at noon? Are you serious? She was incredibly rude and disrespectful and dismissive. This person should be fired today. How is still employed??
