Aisle Travel

We picked Aisle travel to help with our wedding around March 2022 for our wedding 11-12 months in advance. We liked the reviews and website layout. After getting in contact with them we set up a call meeting and told them what we were looking for, price range and they said they would take that and give us some options. We were told we had plenty of time and most people were booking with less than a year. After about 6 weeks went by with very little progress other than some communication back and forth, we were not given a single resort or recommendation. We had looked at 100s of resorts by then so we did our own research and sent two resort recommendations to them. We unfortunately still had no idea on wedding pricing and availability. They were able to get us quotes per person for travelling, which we could get on our own. Finally they were able to get us wedding date availability at one of our resorts we provided and the ceremony location we wanted was already booked full for the weeks we were hoping for. While Aisle Travel was contacting the resorts, we also were contacting them just trying to get responses. The resort got back to us very fast and they told us there were a lot of dates available in the weeks we wanted which left us confused. By this point it was almost 2 months since we reached out to Aisle Travel and we felt we had made no headway other than the work we put in ourselves. They had not recommended any resorts, or helped us secure dates or give us pricing other than generic ball park pricing that can be found anywhere. We contacted Aisle Travel saying we were confused and frustrated as time was slipping away and we hadn’t made much progress and we felt we weren’t being prioritized. We received a response that basically said sorry we didn’t work out and our budget and criteria didn’t align. We were never communicated this that we may have issues with either. We were told good luck on our wedding planning.Since then we reached out to another travel agency now with less time and we were able to secure a resort, wedding pricing and we successfully had a wedding with the same budgets and criteria we gave to Aisle Travel. We understand the whole destination wedding industry has changed for the worst post Covid but we feel with our budget we were not prioritized. Aisle Travel had a good response time but after 2 months there was no sustenance to the responses.If you are looking for a lavish high end wedding, they may be a good option but if you are looking to get married at a resort and care more about the resort, guest experience and spending time with family over price, then I would not recommend Aisle Travel.

The girls at Aisle Travel were amazing! Very responsive, knowledgeable, accomodating and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was stress-free. Everything from the flight to our gorgeous resort, airport transportation and witnessing our friends get married made it a fabulous experience that they helped make possible. Would not hesitate to utilize them again for future travels and adventure!

We used Aisle Travel as our travel agent for our wedding in November 2022. They worked with us for almost two years trying to find the perfect resort and price point to fit our group. Amira and Amy were extremely patient during the process - we had a lower per person budget, but they worked with us to find the perfect fit. I would absolutely recommend them. They worked extremely hard for us and pushed the airlines as much as they could. They are also an extremely thoughtful team that we really enjoyed getting to know over the years of planning. They truly care about YOU and will do whatever they can to make your vision come to life. They are also honest with you about the realities of travel in a post COVID world, which I appreciated.For future/current brides, it’s so important to understand that the role of a travel agent has changed significantly over the past few years as travel has continued to change. Unfortunately, you have to manage your expectations and understand they are at the mercy of the airlines and can only control so much. I would recommend shopping around since this is someone you’ll likely be spending a lot of time talking to and emailing. You want to make sure they are a fit for you, and understand what you’re looking for. I reached out to multiple for a chat before selecting one, and Amira actually encouraged me to do that as well. I would also recommend joining the Canadian Destination Wedding Brides & Grooms" group on Facebook. I cannot say enough about Amy and the staff at Aisle Travel. My husband was able to join last minute and they worked their butts off and made magic happen to add him in! We went with a large group for a friends wedding in November and they were amazing at constant communication, emails, replies and keeping the guests organized throughout the year leading up to the vacation. Thank you Amy! My husband and I had an amazing time and we were so happy he could be there :)

Amira at Aisle Travel is amazing. From day 1 Amira made planning my wedding so simple and positive, not to mention she was always available for anything! All the small details are taken care of, and the thoughtfulness she had for her clients is above and beyond.We ended up having to cancel/postpone our wedding and she was very supportive thru this time as well.If you’re planning a destination wedding, she is your lady, I know we will be calling her when the time is right again:)

Amira was absolutely wonderful when we booked our Cancun trip with her! With all the changes to covid rules and testing, she sent tips and reminders a few days before our departure. I would definitely book my next trip with her.

If I could give 10/5 stars, I WOULD! I have been working with Amira and her team since early 2021, planning our destination wedding for February 2022. They were fantastic to work with and the entire experience took a ton of stress off us and our party. They were quick to secure us an gorgeous resort for an unbeatable price. Unfortunately, we made the tough decision to cancel our destination wedding after final payment and the airline was not willing to refund any of the guests, which was going to result in everyone being out thousands of dollars... Amira went to bat for us and was able to get our entire party fully refunded! I can't express my gratitude in words for Amira and her team. Although we were not able to have our destination wedding, we are now able to relax, with a huge weight off our shoulders knowing that none of our guests are out of pocket. If you are looking for a travel agency that fully has your best interests in mind, Aisle Travel is what you are looking for!!!

I highly recommend contacting Aisle Travel if you are considering a destination wedding! I cannot say enough great things about Amira, Amy, Ashley and the rest of the team. We started our journey with Aisle Travel in January 2022, and just recently returned from our destination wedding in Playa del Carmen. We had no idea what we were getting into, planning a wedding away, and Amira helped guide us through every step of the way. The resort Aisle Travel helped us choose was incredible and met all of our wants/needs for our wedding day and our guests. Amira and her team went above and beyond for us and our wedding group. They helped keep us organized, were highly responsive throughout the entire planning process (even while we were in Mexico), and were incredibly professional and genuine. We're still in awe at how much time and effort Amira invested in helping us plan our destination wedding, and we're so grateful that we got put in touch with her. Amira was a dream to work with, and we're so grateful for everything she did to ensure that our wedding was nothing short of amazing!

Aisle Travel was highly recommended to us by a local brides group and so glad it was. We really had no idea where to begin and Amira really helped guide us in the right direction. We had such a large group, there was no way we could have organized and coordinated the hotels and flights for 90+ people from all over Canada on our own. Amira was our guest’s point of contact and quick to help our guests with any questions they had. I even had a couple late guests that missed the booking deadline and they called her in a panic and she was still able to help them and get them booked and added into our group. They were so grateful for her help and we were so happy she was able to do that after these 4 guests missed the due date. Especially since one of the guests was in the bridal party - there fault but she still helped them out even though she didn’t have too. It feels good to know that Amira is always behind the scenes keeping track of things and making sure everything is accounted for with the resort and airline. She was the glue that kept it all together and a real pleasure to get to know and work with. I had email and/or telephone contact and every question I had was always answered quickly and professionally, even the questions I had already asked a few times. She even assisted me numerous times after business hours and checked on me from time to time to make sure things were still good. Amira was a great help finding our photographer and providing us a list to outsource local wedding favors in the Dominican. Which is her other expertise, vetting excellent vendors for her clients. She saved us time and money on the referrals she provided. We were so happy to have the help and expertise of Amira for our destination wedding.I have already recommended her to friends that are thinking of having a destination wedding next year. From beginning to end we are so happy with absolutely everything. She was there for us from start to finish for over a year. Always answered countless questions from me and our guests and always so flexible.Her services were absolutely excellent and a must if you're planning a destination wedding. Aisle Travel is so amazing to work with! With all the craziness with air travel Amira was always answering all my crazy questions and was always so positive and professional and eased so much worry that overtook us. I know when we say “we couldn’t have done it without her” it sounds like an exaggeration, but it truly isn’t! Whether it was dealing with our nonstop questions (coming from myself, guests, family), helping to reschedule our group due to COVID, or even just answering quick emails while we were in Mexico. Amira and the team helped make our experience as smooth as it could have ever been during this trying time. She always made us feel like family. t's not easy to have a wedding in another country during a pandemic when things change constantly. We’d recommend Amira to anyone looking to do a destination wedding. She really cares about her clients and always advocated for us with the resort and airline.
