I was buying my very first house and my realtor suggested we used Martin, and im so glad we did. He was on time and very friendly. He also talked me through my first inspection and showed me what I'd need to fix and gave me pointers on how. I really learned alot that day about what is to come with owning my new house. I highly recommend Martin Structural Consultants and will probably use them if I ever get a different house. He even took way better pictures of my house then I did.

We had Martin Structural Consultants perform an inspection last week for a house in Sanilac County that we are in the process of purchasing. Craig did a very comprehensive inspection. He had all of the expertise and tools to review not just the entire house, but the septic system, the well, and the rest of the property. His report was complete, clear, very well organized, and included an extensive set of pictures. He also helped us by completing his report during the weekend, so we could stay on track for an expedited closing date. What really sets him apart though is his willingness to offer his expertise on forward looking topics – maintenance tips, areas to seek additional expert support, and other thoughts that will help us make our “up north” vacation home even more enjoyable over the years. Marvin from Martin Structural Consultants came out to give us an inspection. He was honest and knew what he was talking about. Did not buy the house because of too many issues, but when we do buy another house we will use Marvin again.

I/we found Marvin to be very helpful and informative.This was our second inspection in three days, we stopped the first inspection before it was complete due to problems with the house.Our realtor found another house for us to look at the same day, but it tookthe day after the next to get another appointment for an inspection.We were from out of state and did not think we would make it to the inspection but decided it was worth our time to stay and go to the inspection.Marvin would ask if we knew about a certain systems or structural components to insure we had a good understanding of what was at the property.Marvin was very concise, professional, and courteous.The reports that we got on the houses verified all areas that were talked about during the inspection and assisted in making the decisions necessary.Having a professional opinion is very helpful when making such a large financial decision.Thank you for doing such a great job on the inspection and with the report.I would recommend Martin Structural Consultants to anyone I know that may need an inspection.
