Sage Appraisals

Nathan provided a recent appraisal and I have never seen such a terrible piece of work, clearly seeking a forgone conclusion to minimize value in spite of actual market data. For a 3-bedroom condo appraisal he compared only against significantly smaller 2-bedroom units, plus one 3-bedroom unit...but it was sold three years ago, and during the peak of COVID downturn in summer 2020. Also, the comparables used were from far-away neighbourhoods, when the local area has hundreds of condos that are more relevant. DO NOT USE!

Highly recommend Sage Appraisals. Nate took the time to review the extensive renos we had done (which was a full house gut) by reviewing the notes/details provided, speadsheet of upgrades with their respective costs, as well as reviewing the before and after pics to initially provide us with a ballpark figure, followed up by an onsite inspection/appraisal. The onsite was thorough, including measurements and photos but was unintrusive as he was able to go about his business while I continued to work. What mattered most to us was that he took the time to really understand the house renos, costs, property and location to properly assess the homes value, ensuring that we were recevieng the true and best value for our home. Would definitely use again. You wont be dissapointed.

The appraisal we had done by this company we feel was extremely inaccurate. We had other professionals provide more accurate comparisons. When presented to them we were met with rudeness and unprofessionalism and refusal to amend the appraisal. We feel that we were provided with a poor service, we do not recommend Sage Appraisals nor would we use them again in the future.

Was very satisfied with the service I received from Sage. George was professional in his inspection and very patient with the hold ups I had with my bank, did not proceed with the report until I informed him if I was going to have an appraisal done. Did not even charge me for the inspection after I did not end up having the appraisal done.
