My son has been taking lessons with Julie for a few years. He enjoys his time with her immensely. She is fantastic in encouraging him, adapting to his changing interests and keeping his attention. She approaches lessons with patience and humour.

Julie is absolutely lovely. We started with our daughter having lessons with her and now have both our kids working with her. She has been very accommodating during the pandemic and adjusted admirably to the circumstances. She is a strong and kind teacher but is also firm when she needs to be. My kids love her and have blossomed musically under her. We are very grateful for her.

Our daughter Abby has been taking piano lessons with Julie for the past three years. Julie’s gentle approach makes Abby feel comfortable and relaxed. Abby especially loves that Julie includes their family dog Sam in every lesson. Julie has found ways to support Abby so that she feels confident and has fun at every lesson. As a parent to a child with a disability, it can sometimes be difficult to find professionals who “get” your child. Julie loves working with Abby, her authenticity has impacted Abby’s life in many positive ways. Without a doubt, I would recommend any child of any ability to connect with Julie!
