Sailing in Vancouver is tuff at the best of times, owning a boat & needing moorage is even more impossible. That's where EHYC rocks!Joining here is easy & straight forward, the club is non profit, so no monthly fees. If you love sailing and want to be 5 minutes from hoisting your sails then EHYC is the club for you. Check it out, I joined 4 years ago and found the greatest group of people I have ever come across.People who love BC coastal sailing, people who are passionate about racing, people who are down to earth. Friendly, accessible, affordable, you can't get any better than that.

we found this club after being invited to a wedding that was held here and it is such a pretty location that thought about joining. But we heard so much negativity from club members themselves that we changed our minds. A Managers dog has bitten club members, members have tripped and fallen and the club apparently does not care about members at all. But a great place to go for a wedding for sure

North America’s friendliest yacht club, Eagle Harbour Yacht Club, approximately 125 members with 43 members in other categories. EHYC has approximately 95 mooring positions. Members come from all walks of life and use the club to enjoy the full range of activities associated with sail and power boats. Also situated minutes away from Seaside Place is Lighthouse Park, one of the most amazing scenic parks you will see on the West Coast.

Beautiful small sandy beach with picnic tables looking south west. There are public washrooms as well. Very peaceful and relaxing place to sit and watch boats and ducks while the sun goes down.

You may enjoy this place if you yourself are a entitled Muppet, or of you like to be harassed by entitled muppets, or you like to fraternise with entitled muppets. But hey the scenery is nice.
