This if the first time I've ever been motivated enough to write a review. Unfortunately, the man working on Thursday evenings is simply so unmotivated to do his job that I feel it necessary to warn others so they don't need to experience the same. Had a simple question regarding my account as I am an existing auto insurance policy holder from this very location. Rep would not assist, told me to go elsewhere and pay another broker to reprint my documents rather than look it up in his system. I asked with another broker about it and he was shocked, and embarassed on behalf of someone else in the same industry, that anyone would refuse such a simple task. Will not be returning to this location for any more insurance needs.

We went there to insure and register a bus. We were told it's impossible to insure without a safety number. We paid 70 for a two day permit. Next day we took it somewhere else and they managed to insure us in half an hour. Because these people didn't know what they were doing they cost us 70 bucks and hours of wasted time. I am not happy.

The reason I went to this Auto insurance agency is to be guided and given the correct advice rather than to be left high and dry blaming ICBC. The staff needs more training or atleast confirm with ICBC before finalising and selling its products. We all make mistakes but need to rectify once found. So disappointed with the customer service here and even given a chance to fix it, but was turned down. Wont be going here again and would recommend not to.

We arrived at this location at about 5:55pm and they closed at 6. Completely our fault! We walked in to see if by chance we could get our insurance done along with a car transfer and the lady working, Kuldeep, didn't hesitate to say yes and was patient, friendly and helpful the whole time.Thank you!!!

Our family has been dealing with Raj Pandher (previously at the Burnaby Kingsway location & now at Lougheed Mall) for many years now. She just did our son's car insurance and, as always, was prompt, courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Without fail she always presents us with various options so we end up making the right decision. Had we not followed her advice in the past we would have ended up with some pretty unfavourable outcomes. There are many insurance agents out there but for us the determining factors are knowledge and trust ... in both those departments Raj is 10/10 and she is a definite asset to Johnston Meir. There is no-one else that we would use for our insurance needs and if we could give her a 6 star review, we would do so. Thank you for consistently being there for us Raj !

Went in for a simple renewal of my truck insurance, employee looked like he'd rather be somewhere else. Tried to photocopy private documents without my permission and got uppity when I said no those are private" and refused to help. The other one stars are well deserved. I went to a different agency and they said that there was no need to photocopy my private info.Super shady."

The most unhelpful place, the least kind staff, whatever you do though them they make things difficult and complicated, that other agencies will do it as a courtesy for you as an old customer without breaking the rules. I have been their customer for almost 10 years, but not anymore. I am tired of their poor service.I have to mention one agent and he was always helpful, his name is Nick.He is the only exception.

They were a pleasure to deal via email and phone with while cancelling my car insurance and converting it to storage insurance at the height of the pandemic, and subsequent purchases of short-term insurance that I needded in person. ICBC rates are crazy but that's no fault of this broker. Special thanks to Kuldeep for her great customer service skills!
