Sterling replaced both our front and back doors, replaced the frames and installed storm doors. From the outset, the old doors, aged house and materials were challenging. Sterling worked through all the problems, built everything to a level of excellence we did not expect. The work is impeccable. As a finishing carpenter he is hard to beat. We contracted Stirling to custom build and install a pergola and a windbreak for the BBQ, and do a few other minor repairs. His attention to detail and the quality of his workmanship is excellent. Stirling built us a multi-level deck with a custom privacy screen and pergola. The workmanship is outstanding. Stirling was professional and easy to work with. He kept the work area as tidy and as safe as possible during the project. He worked around our existing landscaping, including building the deck around a tree. The deck is solid. Stirling built to a higher standard than required by code and his pricing was competitive. The project took a bit longer than we expected but this was also a strange summer with covid and lumber shortages. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Stirling again or to recommend him to others.
