This location used to operate under Carpet Craft and Sears Flooring but is no longer part of the Sears franchise but ownership has remained the same. I went to get a quote for replacement of kitchen (vinyl) flooring with tile and replacement of living room carpeting with hardwood, including two flights of stairs to be done with hardwood.The salesman was very professional and easy to deal with, but he is no longer at the store.The kitchen floor was done in approximately two days. The tradesman was one of those, however, who likes to get in and get out, more interested in completing the job than in the quality of work. This was my opinion and verified by one of the Carpet Craft (Sears Flooring) staff. The only real incident with the kitchen flooring was the butchering of my baseboards. I believe that there was miscommunication between the salesman and the installation crew in that the installer believed that the baseboards were not going to be re-used so he took no care in the removal. I can understand an honest mistake but Carpet Craft took no responsibility for the error relying on the contract provision that they were not responsible for the baseboards. However, that provision is there in the event of accidental breakage die to brittleness from age, not negligence of the tradesman.The hardwood was delivered a few days in advance of the installation in order to acclimatize the hardwood. Installation day rolls around and here now is a MAJOR problem. It seems the estimator did not bother to check what was underneath the carpet and allowed me to select a regular style hardwood (nail installation). I learned later that the fact that my living room is partially below grade should have tipped off the estimator that I would need engineered hardwood for a glue-down installation. The company missed this despite the fact that their entire business is flooring.A different hardwood needs to be ordered and the stuff that has been sitting in my house needs to go back. Of course, keep in mind that my living room has been cleared of furniture and the carpet stripped so now I have no living" room for a considerable time due to Carpet Craft's error.The salesman advises that he has a replacement product that he can order and not to worry

Rob and his team recently helped us with new carpet in our master bedroom. He went above and beyond by ordering in carpet samples from a manufacturer he did not carry. This allowed us to see the product in person and in the room where the end product would be installed. He was able to work around the other trades and installed the carpet perfectly. Extremely happy with the service and price. Will not hesitate to recommend Rob to anyone.

We were satisfied with this company. Rob was very knowledgeable and able to help us choose the right carpet for us. The installers did a good job in a timely manner, were friendly and did a thorough cleanup when they were finished. We would consider their services again in the future.

I am so disappointed with the level of service I have received here. The owner has poor personal skills and communication. This was the second time returning due to an unfortunate event of floods in my home. The installation was sub par to say the least the first time. I was asked to go back to them with the second flood. Rob uses poor communication and I would never recommended them. After having another quote in my home they have also pointed put how poorly the first install is. Both the carpet and vinyl. I guess I should have known better giving them a second chance and I am happy Im taking my services elsewhere. Rob doesn't know how to have fluid conversation when bouncing ideas, he gets frustrated and short. If you just do exactly what he wants then you should have no issues but don't make suggestions as it might be too much effort/work for them. I was even hung up on when I explained my frustration. Places like this won't withstand in this day and age with customer service like this.I see the owner has responded to my review but at no point was money an issue and I was trying to spend more and do an upgrade as well finish my basement project. I was simply questioning a few things. Unfortunate for this company as I spent more elsewhere. I felt like he was pushing in stock products to make a larger profit.

Service was incredibly professional and friendly! Alex knew what product would work for my application and was able to give me all the information I needed to prep and install it properly. I would not hesitate to buy flooring from them again!
