This place is also a gas station and store.I live in Malakwa and I'm there quite a bit (used to anyway). I used to buy bread there but quit a while back because they don't date their bread and I was under the impression it would be fresh or maybe a day old but then all of a sudden their bread would be moldy the next day. So that was that with the bread. However as of today I will never ever go there again. The place was still open and I decided to get some stuff there before heading home. As I was getting out of my vehicle I see the owner, Walter in the window, and as he is looking directly at me he shuts the lights off and turned the open sign off. Pretty ignorant when he knows I'm a local, makes me wonder how he treats visitors and tourists that come thru. My advice to anyone coming thru Malakwa keep going to Sicamous it's only 11km to the Husky in Sicamous. I will push my car to Sicamous before I go to Mal Mar store/gas again.

Had a storage locker here for about 2 years. Friendly and helpful staff, clean place. I was disappointed that when I did get my things out of my locker mid month that they didnt pro rate the rental fee. Otherwise I'd give them 5 stars
