Michael's

I was extremely disappointed with the service that I was provided by this company. Michael Hamoud accepted payment for the job but did not finish. He did not come back to complete his work and would not answer my phone calls. In addition the little bit of work he did was sloppy and of poor quality. I am posting this so others will not be taken by this company. Don't believe the 4.7 rating. He is a 1 at best.

Posted on behalf of the homeowner: Although Michael did a good job on the garden beds, he has yet to complete the final work on my patio weeks after the project was to be completed. Michael seemed more interested with taking videos/pictures of his work to post online, than completing the work thoroughly, to customer satisfaction, and on time. I ended up paying an extra $500 to Mr Rooter to fix the drainage pipe that he completed using DUCT TAPE. Sadly, I will not be using Michaels' service again, and will be employing another company to fix and complete the remaining work in my backyard.

I retained Michael for the winter of 2021/2022 to clean my driveway, sidewalks and to salt both. I supplied the salt.To say I was very disappointed is an understatement.Our agreement was for the snow to be removed by shovel and not with the use of a ‘blade’ on a vehicle. It was also to be removed when the snow accumulation reached the ‘standard’ for snow removal companies.Michael was told I would be away during the winter months and I wanted the house to look occupied. The salt was to be spread so it was safe for my neighbour to inspect my home daily.Two neighbours reported that approximately half the time a ‘blade’ was used to clean the driveway. The price was based on it being hand shovelled. He knew was I opposed to the use of a ‘blade’ and that is why he was hired when he assured me it would be done by hand.My neighbours also reported that many times he did not remove the snow when it accumulated. Their walk thru the neighbourhood indicated that other snow removal services were being conducted. On several occasions these two ladies were good enough to shovel the driveway and sidewalks for me. Needless to say if he was not removing the snow he was not putting salt down. This was a concern of mine as I did not want someone slipping on ice that could have built up.When I returned home and spoke to my neighbours I called Michael and left a voice mail message on April 5, 2022 for him to call me. Again, more disappointment as he has yet to return my call.
