I have worked Mike in the construction industry for years. When looking for an income property, I needed a second set of experienced eyes. Mikes insights and observations were invaluable. His honest, no nonsense approach was appreciated. I recommend Mike to my family and friends and would not hesitate to call him for another inspection.

Hired Homework to inspect a house for us. Mike was courteous and prompt. His report was thorough. He might not have been the cheapest, but we feel it was a great value for what we got.

Mike did the inspection on our house (built 1932) in 2016.Pro: he found knob-and-tube wiring in the Attic, which we had the seller replace as one of the conditions. He provided an extensive report and charged a reasonable price (around $500).Con: missed mould in the Attic (despite having been in there) , didn't point out improper roof ventilation visible from outside (owner had put two bird wheelies in the middle of the roof and vents at the top, canceling each other out, hence the mould). Lots of gimmicky things in the report, eg a small weed plant beside the house was depicted as shrub close to the foundation".OK overall but not quite good enough for us to base a $700
